#31 - Back for 2006.

Has anyone ever won the Butkus twice?

Posluszny will be there for '08 also because Paul's brother will be a senior in High School next year and is being heavily recruited as a DB and is leaning PSU's way.

i don't get it why would he be a late round draft pick? i thought he was the best linebacker in college. i was really surprised when i heard them say that on t.v. and a little offended too.

Here's what I can't understand. How can Posluszny be the defensive player of the year in collge football, yet A.J. Hawk was that Big Ten's defensive Player of the Year? What's up with that?

Maybe the Butkus voters look at the head to head match-up when deciding the winners(if available). If so, they saw that Pos out tackled the entire Ohio State LB crew in the Penn State vs. Ohio State game. Hell, Hawk had 3 tackles that entire game!
