Deliverance:

Better look that up about who is America's Team. The NFL approached the Pittsburgh Steelers about labeling them America's Team and Pittsburgh told them no, because they wanted to be Pittsburgh's team not America's Team. So the Cowboys got the moniker. A lot of people think Jerry Jones made that up, but he didn't, the NFL actually did.

Wikipedia is user controlled and anyone can write in there anything they want. Not saying it isn't right, but be careful with that site.

It does not matter who is America's Team what does matter in a nationwide poll of people over the age of 14 the Pittsburgh Steelers finished 4th and the Packers were 1st. This I feel is amazing considering these are 2 of the smaller city teams in the league. Green Bay is the smallest city to have a major (football, baseball, hockey, basketball) sports team.

I think I was right about this being a very boring game. Also, I know I am right about the Cowboys being America's team. They are America's team. The Steelers aren't. I don't care what you think someone said, TAE. The Cowboys are known as America's team. Ham, do you see everyone saying how horrible of a game this was? Didn't I tell you?

I thought it was great, never seen a better game in my life. At the end of the day, the Steelers won, and you can't take that away from them or the fans that follow the team...

actually i thought the game vs. the colts was the most exciting game of the season. the most exciting thing about their win yesterday was partying on southside with all the Pittsburgh natives!!!
