BISHOP HOBAN SEEKING COACH:@ Bishop Hoban is seeking a football coach after Dwayne Downing left the Wilkes-Barre private school by mutual agreement. His teams had a 22-19 record in four seasons.
The school's president, the Rev. Walter E. Jenkins, would not comment on Downing's departure.
"It was the best solution for both parties. Regardless of my personal feelings, I'm happy with what I've accomplished there," Downing said.
Downing was a defensive back at Penn State during the 1980s.
