I unfortunately saw a clip of what they call a sport in the Winter Olympics. What is the name of thing where people slide a disc down the ice and two others skate down polishing the ice so it, well I turned the channel, so I don't really know what the point of it is. It looked like Inuit shuffleboard if there is such a thing. PATHETIC!

c'mon, are none of you guys enjoying the olympics??? they come once every four years with some sports that you may not see anytime other than the olympics, i find it kind of exciting. Gunner...have you seen some of the stuff those guys do? they've started doing quadruple spins in the air!!! you try jumping in the air and spinning around 4 times, most can't even do that on a trampoline. and coveman, it's called curling, an interesting game i think...

county, you had me confused there for a moment, after reading about the captains description of curling i see you talking about guys spinning in the air 4 times....ummmm. but then the wheels started turning, put 2 and 2 together and was able to decipher the post. now to answer your question, no i have not seen it. the only sports im watching are hockey, any kind of skiing/snowboarding (slalom, super G, jumps, pipes, etc..) nordic combined/biathalon, a few speed skating matches, and my favorite winter olympic sport of all time CURLING!!!!!!! and i say that with all seriousness. that sport is simply amazing to me, i just wish i had cable so i could watch it more often. I LOVE CURLING!

i didn't think my post was that hard to read...i addressed each of your posts seperately... so that's basically all the sports except for figure skating and all the sled stuff (skeleton, luge, bobsled). That's good to know... i was a little disappointed with women's hockey. I was expecting vixens to be skating around the ice slamming each other, but i started watching and checking is illegal!!! what's up with that??? checking is to hockey as slide tackling is to soccer or wearing pads is to football!!! both are essential!!!
