Penn State's Recruiting Class about to Improve yet again???

Moldo, pick out one of your 95 children. Okay, ready? Now, Your kid has interest from USC and another school. USC actually TOLD YOU that they are worried about your kid hurting their recruiting ranking, which does not mean ONE dang THING IN THE WORLD. The other school, for whatever reason, is more of a fmaily type atmosphere, and seems like a more comfortable place for your kid to spend what might be the most important part of his life. Now, if your kid wanted to go to USC, and you were a little weirded-out (which I know you definitely would be leery of)by Pete Carroll seriously telling you, to your face, that he's worried about a ficticious ranking system, wouldn't you maybe tell Junior "Hey, maybe this isn't such a great idea to go to USC"????

I've learned a thing or 2 along the road of life, and one of them is, If you have accomplished something worthwhile and it's worthy of the praise of your peers and others, THEY will do the praising. What IS in poor taste and turns people off, is when YOU make it a point to praise your own deeds or self. Anyone recognize anyone else like that?

I was watching the Penn State-Wisconsin Basketball game Saturday and I heard a chant.
"HAZELTON, HAZELTON, HAZELTON"
I later saw Mike McQueary (redheaded WR coach and recruiting coordinator) answer his cell phone.

Was Hazelton There?

If not here is my theory:
Hazelton heard the student body going crazy for him (which USC student body hasn't) it imediantly caused him call Mike McQueary and say "yes I will play for Penn State Universtiy in 2007". It is done Vidal to Nittany Lions.

Vidal was at the game. He was sitting with McQueary, Pat Devlin, DWill, and others.

I figured he was. His Dad probably made him go since some people on here think that Vidal has no say in his desision.

Did Vidal buy his OWN ticket??? I heard that he dressed up as a boy scout and got in for $5. Got to be disheartening for the men's B-ball team, to have given Wisconsin a battle in the first half, only to hear the students chanting for a potential football recruit. Gotta be tough. AIRBALL !!!! AIRBALL !!!! AIRBALL !!!!

Hey. Everyone cares about what's best for their kids. That's why years ago parents pre-arranged marriages for their children. You know, the butcher and his wife pre-arrranged the marriage of their daughter to the son of the tailor and his wife. Who cared that those kids didn't like each other? Who cared that they wanted to spend their lives with someone else? The parent's knew best. After all, it was in the best interest of the kid, right?

The kid was very wishy washy throughout the whole process and the father just didn't want him to pick because it was LOI day. He said he would support any decision, but there is no need to rush when they have until April to decide. This isn't a decision to make on a whim... What if he doesn't make it to the pro's in football? If after talking about things and all that good stuff, Vidal wants to be a Trojan, then his step-father (guardian) said he would sign and support the decision.

If Dexter wanted Vidal to go to Pitt over USC it would be celebrated by sPitt fans as yet another sign of Pornstaches' great recruiting. Too bad we all know JoePA kicked his butt in recruiting this year.

Having said that: I would be VERY VERY suprised if Vidal came to PSU given everything over the past weekend....
