I'm not the biggest figure skating fan, but it is the premiere event at the Winter Olympics and I was interested to see how Cohen would do. I found it disappointing however that I knew the outcome by noon yesterday, compliments of ESPN.com. I know its hard to keep a story like this under wraps for more then 24 hrs, but doesn't the media have some responsiblity to not release this to a public who were very interested to see the outcome. Its one thing if you had to actually search for the story but their website had "Cohen Gets Silver" as a huge headline on their front page. You could not have missed it. Also, with Vidal, it was clear that his family wanted to make an official announcment today but someone had to break the story and it got released yesterday. I can see why the Dad is mad. I also hear that the whole Ricky Williams story was illegally released to the public. I just find the media irresponsible at times.
