Penn State Gets One Step Closer to a N.I.T. Birth
Once again, Moldo, on behalf of The Pennsylvania State University, we thank you for the ratings and continued patronage to fightonstate.com (along with gopsusports.com). You, along with countless Pitt fans who cannot give up the fact that PSU dumped your sorry program years ago in football, are responsible for each site being able to charge higher fees for advertising.
Keep up the good work while learning how to run faster and come in a distant second to WVU for the next 20 years.

That is true though what DeChellis said. If the football team is 4-6 there will still be 100,000+ at the next game. Penn State starts the Big Ten Tourny today and I can bet you that teams don't want to see them.

Penn State is one step closer to making the NCAA tournament. How about that?

If they lose to Ohio State tomorrow, they will be 15-14, and ONE step closer to not even getting an N.I.T. bid.

They got their N.I.T. bid and lost in the first round. That definitely wasn't a surprise. I just want to know how they got to play at home?

Yeah I didn't understand that either.

It's simple. The BJC holds over 15,000 fans. The RAC holds only 8,000. The N.I.T committee is in it for the money, right? So they give PSU a higher seed and a home game hoping for the big bucks. Attendance last night: 6,770. First playoff game in 4 or 5 years for PSU and the BJC was a little over 1/3 full. Guess the students had to pay.

YES! Now that all this basketball baloney is over with, we can focus on what really counts this Spring: The Blue White game on April 22! Will be great to see 75,000 fans show up!
