Re: Distance
PODLESNIK IS AMAZING. That was quite an 800 between him and your buddy Donaldson there, mitchell. You actually didnt do too bad yourself. What did you get, like 5th in the 16 and 3rd in the 32? Thats pretty darn good. Who were those kids that beat you in the 3200, i think it was a kid from Penns Manor and from Bishop McCourt?

Re: Distance
Got a chance to see people run at the Bedord Invite. Arrived a bit late but in time for the 400 to end. Gotta say all of you guys looked good and some really great times for the this time of the year and the conditions. Great work.

Re: Distance
Yeah Donaldson won the 400 with a 51 flat and might have set the meet record i am not sure, Podlesnik took 2nd with a 52.6 Podlesnik's 3200 relay team took 4th earlier. Podlesnik won the 800 with a 2:01 taking the meet record also. Donaldson also beat the record along with the kid from McConnelsburg but obviously won't hold it.

Re: Distance
That Snyder kid from mcconellsburg was something, he absolutely domintated the mile, taking first by 12 seconds, i believe over koches from penns manor, followed by mccort's spisak. the best race of the day, was the 800. podlesnik and donaldson went at each toher all race, and it came down to a kick where podlesnik left donaldson in the dirt. helluva race though. 3200 was an okay race, with an impressive start to finish lead by mccort's garver, who lead a pack of 4 people(koches, mitchell, and some kid from bedford) for most of the race, pulling away in the last 600. overall, a very good day, with pretty impressive times, especially for the conditions.
p.s. Where was the Snyder kid from Everett(he must have scratched, i didnt see him at all)

Re: Distance
Idk what went on with everett, they left after like the first race, i guess the weather was too bad for them.
Re: Distance
The potential is there but he needs to start getting under 2:00 consistently to have a shot.

Re: Distance
Podlesnik hasn't gotten under the 2 minute mark yet but that not because he isn't capable of doing it. He has only ran in little dual meets. The Bedford Invite was the first real competition he has had all year and he ran a 2:01 with crappy weather and after running the 4x8 and 400. This weekend I can almost garauntee under 2 minutes from him at the Ship Invite. I think as long as he runs a good 1:57 or 1:58 at Ship, depending on the weather, he could be a good contestant for the gold. Oh yeah and he ran a 4:45 in the mile against Shade. It was his first time running it. Impressive??
Re: Distance
Yeah, i'll tell you what, if that kid keeps up at the pace hes going now, he'll surpass what he did last year, potentially getting top 5 in the state in the 800. too bad hes not in d6, he'd have alot more competition in dual meets, the only good 800 runners in d5 besides podlesnik are donaldson from tussey and that snyder kid from mcconellsburg. but 4:45 mile is very impressive, especially followed by a 2:07 800. The only other area runner i know of that runs times like that is Travis Dean.
