Distance
Re: Distance
Wrecka that makes sense. He really hasn't had the competition until last weekend. I think he will be fine but I would still like to see him under 2:00 consistently unless like you said he is doing the other events to help the team like the 1600 and the 400. I forgot that he ran that 2:01 after running a :53 400 on Saturday. What is he running this weekend besides the 800?

Re: Distance
I am not sure but I believe he will be running his 4x8 and 4x4 relays and the 800. The other runners on the 4x8 are all first year runners so it will be quite an experience for them and just one other guy on his 4x4 has run track before but he didn't go to Ship last year. Its almost the only real big invite to show the new guys what it takes to be good and stuff so it will be good for them.

Re: Distance
what about the ridge boy for the 1600 m run.. he looks really good from what ive seen
Re: Distance
I think he can be good (you're talking about Emerick right?) but at one of the meets he was telling somebody about shin splints and is icing it. I'm not sure how that will affect him as the season goes.

Re: Distance
AA and AAA both went in 1:54. Adam Smith was the AA winner in 1:54.78 and Brad Miller won AAA in 1:54.91. Podlesnik was 2nd in AA with 1:57.29. Snyder of McConnellsburg was 7th in 2:04 (he was also 4th in the 1600 with 4:36)

Re: Distance
Podlesnik was 3rd overall AA and AAA with that 1:57.29. Thats about a half second faster than his former best time. Adam Smith from Camp Hill could really run though couldn't he.
