They say this crazy game is a game of bounces, some good, some bad. In the first inning, the Rangers had Central reeling and only came out of it with one run to show. Detwiler pitched a nice game, but 7 errors? ANY team that is that sloppy in the field doesn't deserve the win, but give the Dragons credit. They DID hit the ball, we didn't. I too agree with Op Guy the Rangers had great potential this year, but they better right the ship fast. They aren't as strong as last year. If they keep doing poorly, they may forget any playoffs, let alone defend a title. Suck it up fellas, live up to the Ranger tradition.

FH got a huge Victory over Mount Union yesterday. The Trojans has previously ripped off 10 in a row, while FH has been really struggling as of late.

Brock Jennings, Jake Oswalt, and Andy Gallaher all came up big at the plate yesterday for FH. It was good to see these Seniors contribute.

Joey Hribar (sp?) and Travis Rearick threw for FH with Rearick getting the win. It was the first Varsity Innings for both of these pitchers all year. Mount Union on the other hand threw their ACE.

We'll see if this win can get FH back on track. It's coming down toward the end of the season and all teams should be starting to gear up for playoffs.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

Somerset upended Westmont to clinch the LHAC Conference Championship by a score of 11-1 on May 9th.

Westmont got it started with a quick run in the first inning but wouldn't score again.

Angermeyer pitched another solid game and got tons of offensive support from the rest of the Eagles squad. Shaulis had a good day at the plate along with Kaufman. Even the nine hitter Lenhart hit a three run shot that broke the game wide open.

To sum it up Somerset pounded the ball well tonight.

If the Eagles hit like they are capable I believe they could be a team that heads deep into the playoffs. But, they must hit the ball in order to win.

Congrats to the Somerset Golden Eagle Baseball team.

The Cambria Heights JV Tournament is this Saturday and should be a good one. Looking forward to seeing these younger kids in action. Does anyone know who all is in the tourney and what time the games are?
