Rivals

Post by hilltoppanther »

It looks as though the Nitwits on this message board do not speak for the Nitwit nation when you say PSU does not care about Pitt anymore.

On Blue and White Illustrated dot com, a Ohio State fan asked PSU fans who their rival was. There was an almost equal split between Pitt and Michigan.

Geez, all along I thought Michigan State was your rival.

On the WVU board, a Notre Dame fan said that no one cares about Pitt.

What do the other millions of ND fans think about Pitt. They sure thought alot about them last year when they were scheduled to play Pitt on national TV in the season's opener. Even Keith Jackson came east to do that game. Obviously somebody cares about Pitt. Why should we put stock in what ONE ND fan says??? By the way, I don't see alot of 'Beat the Spartan" T-shirts around central Pa? Michigan lives to play 3 games every year: Ohio State, ND and Michigan State. They could care less about PSU.

You're so jaded you don't even know which way is up anymore. The reason why that game was on national TV was because it was Wannstedt and Weis. Those two coaches could have been at Miami Ohio and Villanova for all the media cared. There was no way Weis' debut was going to be off television. Nevermind the fact that the reason the Patriots were successful was because of THREE coaches who worked together perfectly, Weis still got every ounce of credit for it.

Another example on national TV of Pitt being handed a golden opportunity and completely blowing it.

Frostlion is running out of sources for his arguments, so he's NOW resorting to individuals fans comments on other web sites!!! WOW!!! And to think he makes fun of what's written in the Tribune Democrat!!!! Great sources frostlion. Gee, you mustn't be busy scouring the web for quotes from fans on other sites. School must be out for summer, right?

frostlion should pay the 10 bucks, go on LH Sports, and maybe give us some quotes from that website. Hey, is Cementjob still up?? Maybe he can go on there too. We need lots of quotes from anonymous kids with wild usernames. Lot of credibility there.

I know it couldn't be better than what kids say on sports sites. After all, I can see that you feel what they say is Gospel. Keep on quoting 17 year old fans on websites.
