Attention Youth coaches, Jr High, JV and Varsity basketball coaches:
We are introducing our 1st Annual Windber Basketball Coach’s Clinic. You will learn the basics of coaching, skill development, and other concepts of coaching that will help you at all levels. Our speakers offer extensive coaching experiences from high school to Division I. This opportunity is great for coaches who are just starting out or who may be long-time veterans at any level.
The clinic is being held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at the Windber Elementary School Gymnasium. Our top-notch facilities will allow us to perform on-court demonstrations using high school players! Guest speakers will include:
- Kurt Kanaskie, Assistant Coach at Penn State
- John Sanow, Assistant Coach at Vermont University (now head coach at Bloomsburg College)
- Jill Poe, Head Women's Coach at Saint Francis (PA)
- Linda Renzi, Head Women's Volleyball Coach at UPJ
