Notre Dame's Nationwide Fanbase.
I frequent a college football message board that is nationwide, but I mainly just read the posts. Here's what other big-time Notre Dame fans had to say around the country after yesterdays little interview with AD Kevin White, who might be the biggest scumbag in college football.
"Big East should grant ND their wish. Boot them out of the league and make them a bona fide independant. They want the best of both worlds and its all for money. Well either join the Big East for all sports or become a true independant.
I can't stand Notre Damne and I'm actually glad they're starting to win again...its a lot more fun despising them when there good. Plus it was fun watching my team beat a team with a genius for a coach and the greatest QB in the history of the game. All OSU did was put more yards up against the genius than any other team in the history of college football. If not for OSU mistakes the spread would have been 28-31 points. Any time you want to play in the recruiting hotbed of Ohio Mr. ND AD, give Coach Tressel a call, I'm sure he'd welcome the chance to bring you to town.
I hope these guys lose five or six games next year. Now over a decade without a bowl win and the hilarously, over-confident Irish are openly discussing expanding their national exposure and watering down their schedule to win National Championships.
I hope so. I always thought Notre Dame's "brutal scheduling" was the excuse used to leap-frog ND over higher ranked teams into the BCS.
Looks like Kevin White is ready to admit Notre Dame deserves the extra consideration just for being called Notre Dame.
Most of us have known this all along.
I console myself with a huge smile when I remember that Cheezeball Clausen will be leading ND back into the depths of mediocrity in less than 16 months.
by august ,the leprauchan will inhabit the media machine and it will be wall to wall 24/7 eye-rash during the preseason...which will behoove football fans of good character to root for underdog michigan at south bend in e arly sept. against this green fungal rot effect on the 2006 season....after ohio st's 640 yd rampage-it could have been 750 yds if tressel didnt turn it down - i am still wondering who will be doing the tackling for the slow-footed eye-rash D????
Its not saying much when your marquee win comes against 8-4 Navy....
Everyone is hailing Weis as some great coach yet Willingham won more games his first year. The biggest difference is Willingham didnt succeed in recruiting, Weis thus far has done an exceptional job recruiting.
Frankly, I think that ND is not only not going to the MNC game, I dont think they even make it to a BCS bowl.
I too like the fact the greatest HS QB ever will also be old enough to be a college Freshmann this year.....
I absolutely agree. I think this guy should be ashamed of himself for the stuff he said in that interview. I want to know how "barnstorming" is when you publicly acknowledge you are going to water-down your schedule. This idiot contridicted himself within 2 paragraphs. I seriously hope Notre Dame never wins another game while this idiot is running the program.
