if hall would of went down to pitt, wannstedt would of told him to get his offense to run faster... and then he would of told bradley to get his defense to tackle better, even though wannstedt's defense can't stop the same play ran at them 9,000 times in a row...

I dont know how many of you have checked out the ESPN.com spring conference reports, but you probably should. I doesnt seem like much of anybody is really standing out at this point. Ohio State was being highly touted, they have more holes than maybe ANYBODY else. UT is the defending national champ, and they lost a heck of a lot. USC will probably win the Pac-10 again, but when is that ever saying something? They have a lot of losses to deal with on both sides, and a big-time quarterback fiasco. Miami lost a ton, FSU lost a ton, Penn State's secondary is a shambles after graduation, lost their quarterback, two best players are coming off big-time injuries. Florida and LSU look like the two big dawgs, but they'll kill eachother off in the SEC title game, and LSU even has a QB dilema. So who is even left? All this ND press, they're defense is just as bad as everyone else's, and they lost a bunch on offense too. Time after time in those spring reports, it is mentioned things like "really hoping JUCO transfer will make huge impact" and "hopefully incoming freshmen can play right away". Where's the beef?

Thank you retro1530 for coming up with something original. It's like a breath of fresh air. By the way, it's "WOULD HAVE GONE", not "WOULD OF WENT". You might as well learn something while you're on here.

hey i just said that cuz since you like bashed penn state when you said this...

Since PSU has had their share of troublemakers recently, who better to ask than the experts? They can learn 1) how to delay immediate punishment 2) how to make that punishment look severe to the media and 3) when to bring these players back into the line-up just at the right time when the team needs them the most. It's a real science in State College

so i came back with the "run faster" and "tackle better", but hey, the truth hurts sometimes doesn't it?
