Summer blockbusters...

Post by Coach »

How have the movies this summer been? The last I saw was DiVinci Code which I thought was really entertaining. I don't think I have any desire to see Superman as I'm not into that type of movie.

Anybody see anything they've really enjoyed?

Click was good. Actually a relatively good story to go with what is an averagely funny movie. No Rob Schneider in it either, that takes away from it, but oh well. Still a good story and a good "date movie".

I saw one that I borrowed from my sister the other day that was superb. It is out on DVD now and called Derailed with Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen. There were some twists and turns in it and you were on the edge of your seat the entire time.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

I saw Cars. Good movie. Will get the DVD when it comes out. But then again, I like cars, and so do my kids.

I get it Ham, your reffering to the fruit "date" not an actual encounter with a member of the opposite sex. nice try buddy!

Just saw Superman Returns for the first time over the weekend and I'm saddened to say that it is the most disappointing movie of the summer, if not the year. If you are planning to see the movie save your money and rent the original. Its basically the same plot and movie, except the original has better acting, more action, and is not as long.
