FH and McCort
Re: FH and McCort
Notice how Opie also avoids the 5 Negative points of contention that Vman objectively debunked!!
But we'll move forward:
Yep..that was me.(starting the bashing) As I stated earlier...I dig at the Coaching staff b/c they fail to bring home the hardware. How many winning seasons?
At least Opie has taken something from previous whoopings - take ownership over his actions (rather commendable Op.) But you want the ground rules to be 'We can bash McCort & smear individuals( kids & families) but don't you dear suggest any thing negative pertaining to FH! Sorry Op...I'm not playing that way.
And your ongoing dig at McCort 's record is tired! They have nothing to be ashamed of! I'll give you perfect example...2002....better yet we'll set it up ...in 00 & 99 BM beat FH, with very limited depth (remember they were single A).....FH was clearly the bigger, more experienced & talented team each yr. and McCort did rather well in playoffs those yrs ; again nothing to be ashamed of, (in 2000 playoffs lost @ a powerful Tyrone team, BM had several more juniors than seniors and BM rolled up impressive offensive #s vs Tyrone. You recall '01 Op, BM beat FH twice @ FH (oh don't say that Vman, blasphemy) of course 2nd time was in playoffs...BM played Wash HI that yr. in western final & lost despite outgaining Wash HS (bet you didn't know that) but 3 blocked kicks will kill ya!....now to '02 BM had 2 retuning starters and went 8-1 or 7-2, then won 2 playoff games & got whipped by a much better Fh team in playoffs.....proud kids, nothing to hang heads about..."but they sucked. you can't bring home the hardware"blah, blah, blah..... no, they overachieved in actuality as did the 03 team without their best player A Hawkins in playoffs. In '04, BM again defeats FH twice, makes it to District final but loses to Tyrone who beat a top ranked Seton LaSalle team before losing in state final! Should they be ashamed of their accomplishments ? I don't think so!
We'll give you '05, thought BM should have prevailed but repeating myself # 7 is a diference maker & I would not be surprised if he leads them to a D6 title!
Then this wrenching deduction!
To further prove my point, as I walked back to my vehicle at the Elementary Parking lot Friday I looked back at the field. What did I see, Scotty Lewis hugging FH players and FH parents on the field! Imagine that…pretty odd for someone who “S. Lewis wasn't motivated by the ugly experiences he had 'cause his brother was of color!!!!”
I'll analyze that for you Op....the kid has class! And certainly he has some friends still attending FH & I don't wish to get into someone's personal business trust me, you have no idea how this kid feels about the district & numerous individuals....it is real Op ....
Just like '04...refs & gentlemen working the sticks will tell you of the racial slurs hurled @ Shawn during play....his response ....say nothing, just kick their a$$...same as Scott! In all fairness, re those '04 contest, certainly not all players lowered themselves to that level & some even apologized to Shawn for the actions of others!

The time when they owned the Rangers...and won their ONLY title. I think you are missing the point that when people use the "no title" on McCort dig, they aren't only talking back to 99...they are speaking for long before that. 1 title since district play has began, but pound our chests about 456 consecutive winning seasons...talk about something that gets "tired".
Hey! Why should the OG even waste the space on digging on the staff, when Ken does it himself! He admitted he blew the Bedford game, not the making the game plan....but in his own words..."not preparing his team". Now, I tried to dismiss this comment before because it blew my mind. But, if your team can't trust you to prepare them week 1 for Bedford when you had all year to prepare...how are we suppose to believe that McCort is always prepared for their opponents when they usually have as much talent, or more than the opposing team and lose? Hmmmmm?

I'll second that one Vman. I think I give plenty of props to Scott (and Shawn when he played), and on the field they are both a class act. I am a fan of both of them, and always wish them (and any local athlete for that matter) the best of luck in their endeavors. It is a shame that a few from our district made those terrible comments. I will stick with my stance on that matter that there were many other factors that led into that whole situation besides mistreatment. And if you think that McCort students aren't EVER racial...than I assure you are dead wrong. This is a real touchy issue that I hate even discussing on this board…so I’m going to end it here. Please…present these false allegations, or speculation. The rules are in writing “spin”man…your obsession to pin this ordeal on Mr. Bailey is absurd. I’m sure there where more than one person (whoever I’m suppose to connect the dots to) sitting in on the hearing. Both sides said what they had to say…the committee ruled. I am guessing, there is no “false evidence”.

Vman says fh fans like to attack bm players/coaches/familes. How bout a very own BM mccort current player coming on here busting on another former players family and also a westpac former player -for us people over the highschool age whatever thats just how it is,but a current player saying such things thats just not right period.
Re: FH and McCort
Someone once said, "You are known by the company you keep". Well vman works with disturbed people all day long and it's starting to rub off. We all have to watch what he is saying. Then wonder if it is the truth, or something he has made up. For example, on more than one occasion he has blamed AW's departure from the local sports scene on the District 6 chairman who is employed by Forest Hills. He has said that the motive was to give FH a better chance at beating BM on the field, even though last year his presence meant nothing in McCort's season ending loss to FH. So straight from the PIAA website, here are the committe meeting records from June 15, 2006. Eligibility Hearings: On a motion by James Price and Kenneth Bussard, Abdullah Wadley, a student at Bishop McCort, was not granted a waiver of Article VIII, Period of Participation, Section 6-B, of the Piaa By-Laws, and was not granted an additional year of eligibility. The vote was 9-1.....Now, how can that result be blamed on the chairman? All he did was conduct the meeting. The vote of 9-1 was pretty significant against AW. The only question I have was who voted for him? It didn't say. I do know that Charles Koren was one of the committeemen who voted at that meeting. Now he either voted against AW, which speaks volumes against the AW situation. Or he was the one who voted for him, which would show how private schools stick together. Irregardless of how he voted, the result was overwhelmingly in favor of denying AW another year of sports eligibility. So blaming his exclusion from sports this year on the District 6 chairman is a joke, and just another attempt by vman to get another dig in on FH, a dig which is 100% unfounded. Now, what else can we debunk?
Re: FH and McCort
Ladies and Gentlemen! It's time to debunk the debunking!!!! In a feeble attempt to explain BM's years of traveling the "moral high road", vman has questioned the 5 examples I have given concerning McCort's less than ethical past. Guess now I have to set things straight about being "moral". 1) vman said it's a free country and there was no reason why Bill Bruce could not attend BM just for his senior year. And although it was legal, aren't we talking about the "moral high road" here? Ken Salem and the AD at McCort knew darn well why Bruce was enrolling at BM that summer. Either that, or they ARE stupid, as I have alluded to earlier. Bruce got in trouble at his previous high school and was FORBIDDEN to participate in sport's there for his senior year. When he arrived for his interview at BM, why didn't BM uphold his punishment which was dealt to him at CT? Instead, knowing that he was transferring for athletic reasons, welcomed him with open arms. After all, they were going to need a runningback that year. Isn't that called aiding and abetting, since transferring for athletic reasons is illegal? And this is the "moral high road"? 2) If you live in West Virginia and attend WVU you pay one price for tuition. If you live out of state and attend WVU, you pay more to attend that school. If you are an athlete though, you may get a scholarship for your services no matter where you come from. This is a common practice. At McCort, there are 2 tuition amounts. You pay one price if you are Catholic. You pay a higher price if you are not Catholic. After all, if you are not Catholic, you do not support the diocese with contributions and giving to the local parrishes. Why then over the past years (and I'm not talking about AW here), have Non-Catholic athletes been given scholarships and discounted tuitions to attend BM?? Why? And this is the "moral high road"? 3) Bishop McCort's assistant track coach got flat out cheating, by trying to recruit a Johnstown High kid for the track team. Hey, it was in the paper when BM received sanctions and a reprimand from the PIAA. How can this be denied? And this is the "moral high road"? 4) How many times as a kid did your dad tell you, "You better settle down, or your going to get a licking"? He was giving you warning that you better straighten up or face the consequences. In the case of AW, how many times did McCort put up with his performances in the classroom without having him face the consequences? Guess they needed him for football, basketball and track. So they would give him a little slap on the wrist once in a while. Was McCort looking out for THEIR beat interest and not his by toying with him all school year? And this is the "moral high road"? And 5) Where in the Bible does it say we are take vengeance against somebody? I thought it was "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord". I always thought it was "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Now I may not expect that from public school coaches, BUT FROM A CATHOLIC SCHOOL COACH??? That onsides kick against Richland was the lowest of the low. It was bush league, in front of players, coaches, parents and fans. It was getting back at someone. Where is that in the Bible? Even Cory Isenberg gave the incident a write-up in the Tribune after it happened. And this is the "moral high road" you speak of? We have seen this stuff from McCort year after year. Now we are to believe they are playing up to AA because they are on the moral high road. From their basketball coach swearing in the locker room at halftime, to cell phones on the sidelines at football games, we haven't seen the moral high road yet. Why should we believe it now?

Uh I don't wish to elude those memories Op....I may allude to them on occasion in discussion with my pals! Really changes the meaning of what you were trying to get across, okay! Hey, free tutorial services along with objectivity, it is certainly not easy being me Op!
Then this.....again!
pound our chests about 456 consecutive winning seasons...talk about something that gets "tired".
Look, Vman has never once stated that on this board & I've never seen a single post from another BM contributor "allude' to the winning seasons!
Do you know how many times you & your boiz bring it up on this board? Hah, you mimic each other; another word for mimic is ape...think about that for a while!! You should be tired of it & since you all bring it up about 20 times per month, I don't think any of the BM players or coaches should feel badly about winning seasons.
The #s your boiz like to elude is 7 out of 11! I like those #s, like in craps, or perhaps Vman can start a chain of conveniece stores in Adams Township & call them 7/11!!
Truth be told that (losing 7 of 11 to BM) drives the average village idio....I mean FH fan nuts! That digs deep down in there;cascades to the entrails & twists at the recesses of their bowels! Oh, they HATE McCort; let it out.. WE HATE McCort....Vman told you all it is okay and in fact therapeutic ; scream it now!! Again!!......... Now a couple cleansing breaths & re-focus, we have a bit more ground to cover!
And if you think that McCort students aren't EVER racial...than I assure you are dead wrong. This is a real touchy issue that I hate even discussing on this board…so I’m going to end it here.
Couple defense mechanism @ work here: First, when wrong or in error it is always easier to put it on somone else (the BM students are racist too, wah)....you know, the first step in dealing with a problem is admitting it! Then, sweeping racial ugliness under the rug is classic avoidance Op...if we would have had wings & a couple tastes the other nite I would have recruited you for Moldo's community tolerance group! But here again (like losing 7 of 11) this drives the avg. FH fan crazy and they struggle to admit problems: How about a 14 yr old boy being held out of a grade-wide Track & Field competition (that was a decision made by school officials, real classy); a story relayed to me by a FH teacher, not related to Shawn. But I forget you are above everyone else in the area & then their 'scorned sons' go to BM!!!! Holy $H!+ !!!! We HATE you even more....
keep breathing guys.....
Well, gotta run to practice; helping some city kids with youth football but I'll perhaps finish later! And I have to (once more) respond to Moldy's petty a$$, cheap, redneck, hate BM. bs...someone's gotta do it!!!
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

Does anyone besides me find it odd that vman quotes the Bible, but in the sentence right above that he is calling people names and insulting anyone who dare question him ever since he has become a member of this board? He also likes to belittle people with his grammar lessons, or any other minute incorrect detail he can find in a post.
I'm sure I'll be next on his list to attack now.

So not true...I offer free help & I'm ridiculed?? In Opie's post, if one had taken his word literally, the whole intention of his point would have had the total opposite meaning of his intent! Geez, try to help one of your pals!
Look, as stated in this thread I don't know & I don't care where you stand in regards to BM! It is just that total rubbish was regularly presented on this board & it was unchecked...as a matter of fact, it was seen as funny!!
I don't think it funny when adults bash a disadvantaged, struggling kid & laughingly criticize an institution attempting to help him.....maybe those are your standards but guess what I'll stand & fight for the young man & criticize the cheap shot adult...
Another regular, recent dig is towards families of BM players; where our resident redneck directly implies wrong doing to have a yougster put on an all star team .....calling families corrupt, paying off someone!! As previously stated he does not know WTF he is talking about - he hates BM bottom line & makes $h1t up & I have no problem stating such...if you do, so be it!
So Vman counters & you have a problem with it....did you like it when they had free-reign, carte-blanche?? Sorry, just balancing the scales & they don't like it!
And I know their response already....they are rather transparent! But Vman tired: 10 hrs work, 2 hrs practice, taming village idiots.....it really isn't easy being me.. but someone has to do it > couple brews & shut-eye!
Will debunk their nonsense tomorrow with fact....again!!
I had to add...the quote: "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"...that's a Ranger thing...don't think most would understand...and I do not mean FH ranger!
No, just being objective!

I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."
Re: FH and McCort
vman: Just for the record. In your last post you 1) spelled convenience wrong 2) said "couple of defense mechanism" instead of mechanisms, and 3) In what part of the Bible do we find "Holy $H!+"? Maybe that's taught in parochial schools. I don't know.
Re: FH and McCort
Funny. vman calls it "helping some city kids with youth football". The rest of us all it scouting and recruiting.
