FH and McCort
Re: FH and McCort
Isn't there some psychological problem when someone keeps referring to themselves by their name? You know, like vman counters or vman tired, when referring to himself? I'm telling you, he's gonna blow!!!!!!!
Re: FH and McCort
Vman's fine Moldy but thanks for caring!
And regarding your observations:
vman: Just for the record. In your last post you 1) spelled convenience wrong 2) said "couple of defense mechanism" instead of mechanisms, and 3) In what part of the Bible do we find "Holy $H!+"? Maybe that's taught in parochial schools. I don't know.
I always appreciate helpful feedback. I was 'running' to practice/don't use spellcheck....but no excuses here & you may get Friday's star for the spelling help!! And # 3 there is quoting the avg FH fan after losing again to BM, that's all!
Then only the culturally sensitive Moldo would come up with this:
Funny. vman calls it "helping some city kids with youth football". The rest of us all it scouting and recruiting.
Here is your protagonist (Vman) working more than 8 hrs. daily, doing the family thing & for a month now coaching youngsters 10-12 yrs old & the antagonistic EM tries to put a negative spin on it.....here's some more to work with Moldy...most of them are of color; want to take some shots @ even younger kids...it's one thing you're good @!!

Gee, I didn't realize you were so busy. Maybe that's why you post alot during work hours. Aren't you supposed to be working, and not doing personal things on company time? Is that part of the "moral high road" too? And by the way, thanks again for bringing race into this discussion. It seems to be your old standby.

How many kids from Shiloh Baptist "converted" to Catholicism for football this season?

Here folks they are talking of a black family who are very hard working & up-standing....they valued a private education for all their children...so they work hard... put all their kids thru St. Pat's & BM.....they are not Catholic but very, very active in their church. And they get ridiculed???? CLASSLESS!

Re: FH and McCort
Gee, vman must be quite a guy. He's his own boss, has 5 kids, family man, helps out with local youth. How does he do it and still have time for sports sites online? Must be a superman or something. Anyhow, why bring up race again? That was my question which wasn't answered. If AE brought up Shiloh Baptist, I'm sure he was referring to the Baptist part of the title. You are the one stereotyping people. You assumed once Shiloh Baptist was mentioned he was referring to people "of color", as you put it. AE used Baptist and Catholism in the same sentence, therefore questioning protestant vs catholic. Again, why would you assume he meant kids "of color". It is YOU who are the profiler, not any of us. Can we help it if AW is "of color"? I criticized Bill Bruce and Steve Gates more than him. Are they "of color". Are DeFrances and Belsky "of color". They were criticized too. YOU are the one with racist attitudes. After all, you bring it up every chance you get.
Re: FH and McCort
By the way, just because vman is his own boss does mean he doesn't work for somebody. Don't you owe someone a full days work? Using the computer during working hours is O.K. if you own the company. Otherwise you owe someone a full 8 hours as you put it. It's the "moral high road "thing, right?

Re: FH and McCort
there is no way that should be allowed on this site...for one this is a sports cite, and 2 thats crossing the line TAE...where do you get off talking like that? if you were in front of me right now id break your jaw....you should be ashamed of yourself...how do u live with yourself? critisizing a family and a religion...grow up...
Re: FH and McCort
Did I miss something here? Who is this family we are talking about? We went from speaking in generalities about non-catholics playing football at BM for a discount in tuition, to a specific black family????? Who is it? And TAE is not criticizing a certain family, but the system at McCort. THEY are at fault here. Special treatment if you play sports, even if you are not Catholic. That is the issue here, not ONE specific family, and NOT RACE!!!! This has gone on for years. We are not talking so much about NOW, but the past too.

Re: FH and McCort
How do I live with myself? I'll tell you how. Because I dont get all stressed out and mad and cry racism every 20 seconds. Everyone is a hero if they take the moral high road and pretend like they are defending the minority. What I said has absolutely nothing to do with one kid in particular. It doesnt matter if he went to the Mosque and played ball for McCort. My gripe is how Bishop McCort, theoretically a Catholic school, just allows all these other religions into their school, and I'm sure it never has anything to do with athletics. How come Catholics preach that their god (notice the small G) is the only right and true god? If that's the case, then why are Baptists and Anglicans and Lutherans and whoever else allowed to go to a Catholic school and no questions are asked? Maybe Bishop McCort should just be a religious school, and not claim to be a Catholic one. No racism here, but nice try. I wiped a tear for how heroic you are for sticking up for people.
