Made no difference, the other sports wanted no part of the move. (except wrestling)

Come on D-nice I used to live on the hallowed ground know as the WPIAL and their are a lot of teams that wouldn't do very well in the ICC. Do me a favor and count the number of single and double A programs and get back to me. I seem to recall Tyrone kicking the WPIAL champs asses quite a bit in recent years, not much difference between that part of Blair Co and Bedford Co. Gee Aliquippa has a very good sports program and to compare Chestnut Ridge and Bedford to them is totally invalid.
Hot dang boys a city slicker is comin to Bedford County lets get em.

This site I found may or may not have a list of the schools and classification;however when I went to open the site it was not working properly.

The differance D-Nice is that you are trying to compare the 30 teams to 3. Not every AA school out there is putting out D1 recruits year in and year out.

Maybe D-nice would like to compare wrestling from the two counties?

you don't wanna do that bozo! my first thought was that bedford county was really into wrassling too, so therefore they must do better than the wpial, but I was wrong and now you have joined the ranks too, but I did'nt bring it up on a public forum to be embarrassed by my peers.

So now we are comparing Bedford County to the entire WPIAL? Well that sounds fair. So how many AA schools out there compare to the historical tradition of Bedford? Please educate me, but spare the insults.

After having some time to think through this issue again the saddest aspect is this. I moved into the CR District in 1989. The talk and attitude about the CR football program at that time was very similar to what you hear being recanted today. Almost 20 years later and the same frustrations are being rehashed over and over again. The question is why?
There was a period of time when Ron Walters was at the helm and the program was making progress. Why did that end? If you ask him and then ask the administration you will get 2 totally different answers. Which one is right?
Why did CR leave the LH. Sure Southpaw technically has it right. Either jump all in to the LH or get out. Was that a good decision?
Is the CR football program better today than it was 10 years ago? The best way to answer that question is with another question. How deep are they going into the playoffs? And how many of their players are being sought after to play at the next level?
I still would like to see CR do what is necessary to be a consistent respected football powerhouse. That I am sure is a possibility.

Just something to ponder on…If Ron Walters is such a great coach…. why did PC fire him and why isn’t he a head coach. I am not bashing Coach Walters …just something to think about.
