ROCKWOOD - The Rockwood football team evened its record at 2-2 in the WestPAC with a 28-12 victory over Shade on Saturday.
The Rockets' defense forced seven Shade turnovers, including Seth Foreman's 26-yard interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter.
Foreman and Chris Sterner each had two interceptions.
Matt Ohler led Rockwood's offensive attack with 85 yards rushing on 18 carries, including a 51-yard TD run. Tyler Baker contributed 49 yards on 11 carries.
Baker hauled in a 22-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Zack Sipe and Elliot Huston scored on a 4-yard run for the Rockets.
Brandon Kudasik caught a 90-yard TD pass from Mitch Edwards, who scored on a 41-yard run for the Panthers (0-4).
