Crimson, Posluzny is playing MLB this year in the 4-3. He is not OLB like in previous years. This is why Dan Connor is getting so many tackles. Posluzny is doing fine. Every time a junior has a big season, his senior campiagn is less impressive. Why? B/c opposing teams know how good he is, and take that player out of the game in some capacity or another.

I expect PSU to be very excited for this game, and I expect the defense to be ready for Michigan. But like I said, the offense will determine what the defense does. UM leads the nation in time of possession. I dont care how great your defense is, they cannot be on the field for 90% of the game. That offense really, really needs to step up this weekend.

you can agrue who is better between palko and morelli all you want but i can guarente that if Penn State and pitt played Penn State would come out on top and that is all that matters

and also Blades had more tackles last year when he moved to MLB so.......and his senior year is on pace for some Pitt recrods

First of all, presently there is no comparison between TP & AW!
Secondly, I guarantee you that the only reason these two teams do not play is due to the stubbornness of your W/E @ Bernie's HC....the series will resume, in some fashion, after he retires!

If Morelli and his dad had been smarter, Morelli would be a redshirt sophomore right now at Pitt, playing behind and learning from Palko, with TWO years of eligibility left to show off his skills. All he's got left now is part of a season and next year. What a shame PSU did not handle his playing time properly. A darn shame.

How many times do we need to go over this? 2 years ago in Wisconsin... it was a cold and windy afternoon... Sack Mills gets blasted and leaves the game. Michael Robinson comes in and gets blasted and leaves the game. Ganter's kid somehow keeps the team in a position to win the game, but lacks the arm-strnegth to throw it downfield. The coaches have a pow-wow and then ask Anthony Morelli if he is willing to give up his redshirt to throw ONE pass at the end of the game. Morelli agrees and throws it and PSU still loses.

Yes, initially, this looks retarded. However... PSU was playing a better team on their field and was playing in a season where they needed to win every game to be bowl eligible. You do not play to lose the game... you play to win the game. They didnt fly to Madison to lose to the Badgers; they went up there to win the game.

TAE.....you play to win the game but you also to keep your program in good shape for years to come.....by wasting Morelli's redshirt year...he lost a year of expierence and i do belive that is why he is really struggling this season



he was a F-I-V-E star "all world" "cant miss" prospect so the weapons around him should still be enough for to have better stats then what he is putting up

Crimson, do you even think before you type? How would another season have helped Morelli THIS YEAR? Instead of being a Junior he'd be a Sophomore!!! He'd still be doing just as badly.
