Scores 10/27
Bedford over Bishop Carrol 34-20
Feaster had well over 150 on the ground tonight. What a hellishly wet game as i'm sure all games were.
Keep them coming...

From the Land where REAL PA HS football is played...
Shaler Area 22
Erie-McDowell 9
The Titans finish 7-2 overall, 4-1 in their conference. The win all but clinches a home playoff game for Shaler Area next week, likely vs. Gateway or Bethel Park.
Shaler Area take 2nd in the always-difficult Quad North, behind North Allegheny who beat North Hills 20-14 tonight.

Shaler Area shares the section title with North Hills and North Allegheny IF NH beats NA tonight. If NA wins, the Titans take 2nd in the section. North Hills led NA 14-10 in the 3rd quarter at last report.

Crimson...After watching WPIAL AAAA football close up for over a dozen years, an ELHACK game (even if it's the almighty Rangers or Crushers) is like watching HS football in slow motion...
...Let's just say the speed of the game in the ELHACK is like some of the WPIAL AAAA Frosh or JV games that I have seen here. I have seen a few frosh teams here that could make the 6-A playoffs WITH EASE.

Heritage Conference once again proves that it plays great football.
Laurel Valley 21 - Blairsville 14 2OT
LV trailed 14-0 heading into 4th scoring touchdowns with 9 min and 5 min remaining and then intercepting a Bville pass on their own 20 with less than a minute left and getting interceptions in each overtime period(all ints by Jr Myers Miller who had 4 on the night) they finally punched it in the second OT and the Miller pick during Bvilles possession ended the game and if coach Ab Dettorre sticks to his word it also ended the Blairsville season.

McCort over Central 25-7 in a game alot closer than the score indicates. Central was actually up 7-0 at halftime and it looked like the Crushers may lay an egg and blow their LHAC title. But the Crushers came out in the 2nd half and played well while Central could not run and their qb had trouble with a slippy and muddy ball all night. Luckily for McCort they can run the ball and Defrances only had to throw about 5 passes all night. The same can not be said for the Dragons.
Re: Scores 10/27
titan, let's just say that you are full of crap when you make a statement that wpial frosh teams could compete, and make the playoffs in A with ease. we don't have any quad A teams in this area, so the comparison to lhac is also somewhat off base. enrollment matters.

WPIAL T,
I watched a couple of the games of WPIAL and yes they are impressive. But you can't compare them to LHAC since there are in a totally different area. Believe it or not there is a distinct difference between the city league and country league. You know that... but you like to get everyone excited. I can't blame you since some arguments/comments are quite entertaining.
It would be nice if the LHAC teams were a little more balanced. Closer games are much better to be at than a blowout. This year showed some better games than past years, but there still is a lot of room for improvement. As for the WestPAC... I'm not even going to touch that situation.
