I dont understand this. Why is it that you can sign a contract for, say, 3 years at league minimum, then you do real well, and you dont have to honor that contract anymore. Didn't you sign the deal? Why are you allowed to hold a franchise hostage and demand more money, AFTER, you already agreed to a contract?

The funny part about that is if a team feels the need to give the player a raise, they will. I hate when people holdout. If you're deserving of a raise, you will get it.
