Now that the regular season is over for Penn State's football team, how's their basketball team doing so far?

Not so good...the loss of preseason All Big 10 Forward, Geary Claxton has hurt them bad. They lost to Stony Brook the other night and they will probably lose to a good Bucknell team on Tuesday too. Many experts had them pegged as a bubble team this year...maybe they could be, but they better get Geary back before they keep getting drilled. Their bad OOC schedule and this loss probably killed their hopes already unless they finish in the Top 4 of the B10, which I don't see happening.

They did land two bigtime recruits in the past few weeks though. A guy that UK and Louisville and Ark wanted as well as a guy from NY that is supposed to be very good. Both were considered Top 150 guys, which is something PSU doesn't get too often.

Thanks for your interest Moldy! Hopefully Eddie D can keep this season from going down the tubes after this bad early loss.

Too bad about Claxton. With 4 returning starters back from last year, you wouldn't think Claxton being hurt would have made that much of a difference, especially against some of those weaker non-conference opponents at home. With Bucknell, St Joe's and Ga Tech as the next 3 opponents, things will be tough for the Nits.

Hey. I see PSU beat Bucknell last night by 3 in overtime at home (where else?). Bucknell now improves to 0-4.
