Are you sure its these nasty Penn State and Ranger fans causing all your discomfort? Don't fall into the trap of projecting your feelings onto other groups of people.
As for your quote, Now #2, Any Pitt loss to Penn State? Uhhh, I really don't think I have Post anything; what I do suffer from is SMD... Selective Memory Disorder. You see it is very common in those of us over fifty. I am afraid you mislabeled your condition, it is know as Amnestic Disorder. The diagnositc critera is: A) The development of memory impairment as manifested by impairment in the ablility to learn new information or the inability to recall previously learned information. B) the memory disturbance causes significant impairment in social or occupational functioning and represents a significant decline from a previous level of functioning. Vman it commonly affects people over 40 years of age!!!! Keep in mind this is what I do for a living and I am offering this information to you free of charge and most importantly I care.

Now on to Good's comment (who by the way gets the Holiday Research Star for the day): Vman could not have something as drab as a form of amnesia....what do you think this is a soap opera or what?

If you were a clinician you would be hip to the cutting edge Diagnosis -Selective Memory Disorder- it is not even in the DSM, as yet & is a precursor to that dreaded affliction CRS..... or in lay terms Can't Remember $hit!!!. And sadly, it is very common in those of us over fifty.

And a little trivia for you: did you know that damage to the brain region hippocampus is responible for most amnestic onsets. Believe me, I don't make this stuff up!

And hey, I was also duly impresed with the implied projection:

Don't fall into the trap of projecting your feelings onto other groups of people.[/quote]

That was good; at least someone paid attn. during those free Psychological tutorials!

As you know Good', it isn't easy being me but when I reach one person it makes the trek worthwhile!

I once had amnesia and Deja Vu at the same time. I didn't know where I was, but I knew I had been there before.
