Discussed last year... every team plays a lousy OOC pretty much. Last year, Pitt's may have been the worst in the country. Go back and take a look for yourself. I posted it last year...I'd like to see it posted now actually. This is why Pitt was undefeated so long a year ago and still wasn't getting much respect. I'm glad PSU is doing what they are doing to get confidence. Clax and Corn are two of the best in the entire B10. Too bad they have guys like Milos Bogetic as a dud who has to play.

You are right, they did get two good recruits. Both were listed as USA Today Top 150's I believe. The guy from Kent started getting recruited heavier down there by UL and UK after a growth spurt and a good AAU season. They were hoping he wouldn't commit during the early period though.

I think the next subject here should be the strength of schedule between Pitt and PSU's fencing team. We already discussed all of football season and its already started for basketball, so lets be fair and unbiased and rate ALL the athletics offered by the schools, NCAA and Intramural, who's with me?

I dont even know why you guys waste your time watching the NCAA regular season basketball games. Dayton gets blown out by St Vincent Depaul All-Star team from Johnstown, then beats UCONN and Louisville in the next 2 weeks. Then they get blown out by a 7th grade squad from Central City, and turn around and go undefeated in conference play. Then in the first round everyone thinks they'll upset North Carolina. What happens? They lose by 70 points. NCAA basketball is completely irrational and too frustrating for Your Literary Hero. Plus they play too many games.

Hey Moldy, real quick... Pitt play Gannon this season yet? And when did Robert Morris start getting NCAA tournament hype??????? Are there even enough students at that college to form a team?

PSU beat Morgan State today AT HOME (where else?) by the score of 80-71. Morgan State (what is their mascot anyway?) falls to 0-6 on the year.

As stupid and irrational as college basketball is, I would not be surprised to see Morgan State win a national title this season.

As far as the argument that Pitt should play a tougher non- conference schedule. Why? when they enter conference play they will not have an easy night until mid-april, whereas other conferences have cupcakes to cream.

Is the Big East always going to stay so strong, with every team so good, or is the Big East going to become the basketball equivalent of the ACC in football? Did the ACC have a bad year, or has the level of talent spread itself across the whole conference already, making the whole conference weaker? Things that make you go "Hmm".

D-Nice why couldn't you get that through your head about Penn State football's non-conference schedule.

PSU, which plays only 2 non-conference road games this year, has lost them both. They play only 2 of their first 14 games on the road.
