Re: Post Season Honors
BTW can anyone elaborate on the new format for selection in the game this year?

your agruement is flawless. I don't even know where that came from. Point is, Stahl will be the coach and that's that. Nothing else to say.
(foot in mouth)
does anybody keep a website up for lantzy?

It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Re: Post Season Honors
Rethinking the past, I do believe it has been that the coach that takes his team the deepest into the playoffs is usually the coach for his area. In this case it would be Stahl for the south and Bailey for the north (yes no Fetzer because Bailey went deeper in the playoffs), but seeing as there are mentions of rule changes, will this be changed? After thinking about it more and more, I don't think the coaches are what we should be discussing. I'm sure whoever is chosen to lead their respective squads will do a fine job. But who will some of the players be?
Re: Post Season Honors
Personally, i would have no problem with Stahl being appointed coach & his squad had an excellent year. But Bison'74, why all the bitterness?:
He went undefeated despite being unable to field the best athletes from every public school in somerset county on his own team.
"Not everybody can be as awesome as BM anyway, so we might as well settle for a mediocre coach from a meciocre team."

I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."

never said salem shouldn't coach. according to the natural: 'lets give the honor to someone who deserves the honor.' not the 'one season wonder'...that's what i was going off of. sorry. didn't mean to sound bitter. that's just how i feel. you shouldn't have a problem with that vman.
coaches: stahl at the head to close out his coaching career, and salem will be there as well
as far as the players go...
Bedford: Feaster, Jaber
Berlin: Miller
BM: You tell me
TWP: Garlesky or Muir?
Meyersdale: Stahl, Edwards, Anderson, Hartman
NBC: Love, Klontz (...Coach?)
Shade: Zimmerman?

Re: Post Season Honors
I'm really hoping the south will have a better qb calling the plays in the huddle. Nothing against Hody, but towards the end of the Trojans season...we saw what they were all about. Bison, seeing as to how you are so informed on the Westpac credentials, perhaps you could inform us if there is anyone in the westpac south that could be the qb?

Re: Post Season Honors
BTW on Hody's behalf, if there is an offense that fits his nature, that is, run first and pass second, he will do fairly well. But there isn't too many offenses in the area that are like that. good luck none the less. I guess if you think about a pocket passer, the only person from the LHAC that would be on the south team would be Defrances from BM but he is not a senior so we are gonna need some help from the Westpac. So what do ya got?
