What's Italy famous for??? A buncha crappy paintings and FASCISM!!! Thhhaaaaaank you, El Duce! You really made the world a better place. Next time you invent something, we promise not to hang you and your wife by the feet and stone you to death! They can't even keep Venice from sinking into the Mediterranean, where's Gunner to tell us about how important the World Cup is? I sure don't see Italy being given international funds to save their city just because they won a soccer tournament!!!

i am an american... i was very excited about the world cup. and yes, because italy won, they are now recognized throughout europe as the major superpower in soccer. which is very important.
