CC-Jtown

Post by sportsfan1000 »

Game is Wednesday. Who wins? Game is at Johnstown. Can the Trojans beat the Devils? I say this game goes to OT.

Despite the subpar play since B. Holsingers injury, CC comes back with a vengeance to end the years of futility against Jtown. Expect Miller to bring his A game (especially in crunch time) and expect Gowen to bring his too. But the key to this game is not how good these two will do, per say, but how well the rest of the Devils do. From what i've seen, Dan Holsingers definitely gonna have to shoulder a bigger load now that his brother has been sidelined. On the wings, Shane McGregor will have to show up (with his jump shot) to give the Devils some needed points, along with senior Corey Faish attacking the hole. Should be a doozy. CC by 3 in yet another tight one for the Devils.

CC by 2..why? well hasn't it become somewhat of a recent habit that Miller hits a 3 at the buzzer for the win?

Well in a decent game the devils beat the trojans 60-52. Sophomore phenom jordan miller puts up 20 making a joke of j-towns double/triple teams. Gowen performed as always, holsinger had a nice game. Mcgregor and faish still not putting up major points make an impact on the boards and on d. the pit made the trip to the city and cheared against the !SNJAORT well thats how they came out after they painted their chests at halftime sorry guys better luck next time central cambria plays somerset home friday and from what i hear somerset handed a loss to the panthers of penn cambria

Yes, the Devils did indeed break the nine game hex that had been hovering over them against the trojans. The tremendous 1-2 punch of Miller and Gowen did it yet again, with miller dropping 22 and gowen 19 (something like that). In the south towers absence, north tower dan holsinger played a tremendous game, coming short of a triple double by only two points (8pts, 10+ rebs, 10 blocks). I surely expected Jtown to be better than they showed, but maybe they had an off night. Either way, they def arent even in the same ballpark as last years team and their lack of a true big man is def a concern for you trojan fans out there.

I agree with goldenboy, I dont think CC got Jtowns best game. What was wrong with Young? He didnt even look like he was there, he wasnt agressive at all.

I would like to see them play again. D6 playoffs?? maybe
