I find it curious that you don't scold Moldy for littering a BBall thread with hate towards BM? An agenda perhaps? Now others on here will assume I would jump all over this - thinking I'd be shook or rattled but I am anxious to hear the story. Honestly! Did you make the Little League AllStar Team @ Arbnutus or Ferndale & McCort offered you a scholorship? If you do not wish to name names feel free to pm me, whatever. And being honest, I knew few people there prior to 1999, since I did not go there & had no children attending till then. So this BM history is informative to me! Hey before i go to lunch & a couple appointments let me guess @ one thing, I bet you did not ending up going to BM despite their lucrative offer! ?. But I still can't wait to hear the recruiting tapes or see the films....did you hire someone we know from Richland to film the Recruiting process?

Forgive me vman as I was not responding to just this thread, but all of my readings of the past 4 months. I did say that others were of blame, just that you sometimes tend to hide behind the holier than thou position.
The post was about basketball, but his reference to football was inline with the topic of was the record in need of an asterisk....which I dont think it is.
BTW..I was recruited in baskeball when coaches came to my house for a visit. I will pm you with details when I have time. It was before your arrival on the sports scene.
I never said I was better than anyone for seeing many games, just wanted to give you some background before the attack began. After reading these forums, I find it is easy for people to attack ones knowledge before much is known about them...I guess you can say much like I did to you. I just went on the basis of many of the posts.

i havent been to a HS gym in this state that doesnt have a 3 point line? so if its there why wouldnt he or anyone else for that matter.. use it?

There shouldnt be an asterik next to the score for 2 reasons. 1) The number of points that Balog scored was extremely high, even for the bad team that Westmont played. 2) The previous record was held by one of the Mezik brothers and he attained it during a 4-OT game (i think, it may have been 3). So mezik had basicaly 2 games to break the record.

P.S. As a side note, Balog was 1-2 three's short of the record for most 3's in a single game. That could be a contribution to his high score.

well, whoever had the record, it is now been broken. who cares who he played against. it was a legit team, and he did not even play the entire game. simply put, he scored the most points in a game in westmont history, period.
