I think this whole thing will turn into a crybaby post, but ill add my 2 cents...

Academics is hard to measure, westmont operates under a block schedule while mccort has a standard schedule. Some kids do better or worse in the two systems. Measuring how good a teacher is compared to another is impossible (sure you might get good grades in their class but how much are they pushing you?) I tend to think that the academics is pretty even.

heck maybe take a look at scholastic quiz, anyone have info on that?

Athletics is alot easier to compare because you can measure success, but since we are comparing these two schools, we should look at how the teams matched up against eacherother.

now i feel some sports hold more weight to them such as football and boys basketball, and since i think mccort has the nod in both of those sports, id have to give mccort an addtional 2 points...making it 6-6....and even!?

Dfense...how can u say that girls soccer is even, we'v beaten u the past 4 of 5 years, wow, that's even. and then u also forgot wrestling, which westmont'd kill BM in even if BM had a team. and westmont's scholastic quiz team that u mentioned earlier has gone to states last year and is goin again this year...so ya, good arguement there dude

actually acedemics are not hard to measure, just go look at the test results, westmont all the way. also westmont wins at scholastic quiz thanks to the fine bit of coaching by the legendary John Wood. and what else do i have to say who has won the lhac trophy the past 7 years, i mean westmont and mccort are not even, there is no debate.

Ok first you cant compare acedemics nuff said second athleteics is a push,third does it really matter westmont folk who already know they are better than everyone else cause they live ona big hill and drive nice cars oh look over there a big bundle of who cares, and Moldo couldnt agree more with grapling besides football that what PA is know for.
So this forum is basically a waste of everyones time and i would like to encourage people to pay this no mind but do as u will. I mean come on u have two school that rival each other one with a big butt budget and one with almost none = not comparable at leastin my eyes. So what are we doing here just shouting back and worth like we are kids again doing the oh my dad can beat up urs.
I much like Senator Zel Miller of the great state of Georgia Wish that we still lived in a society were dueling is still permisable so this topic would end, but alas that era is dead.
So in summary this topic can go on and on for ages and will in fact, but fact again is if ur from McCort u think McCort is better if ur from Sidman FH is better if ur from westy westy is better and it goes on and on and we not accept that they are all actual schools that send kids to college and that play sports and have fans and rivals?
But again my time is at an end i wish u all the best. Hopefully we can change our ways and bring class back to this website, im all from discussion but this classlessness shown by all sides must stop so either man up and throw down with someone like the good old days or be real men and women and just be try to be nicer so that these pointed and opionated views everyone has dont have to be seen by the 5th 6th 7th graders that read this wedsite cause it breeds bad blood. crimson, first of all, have u ever heard of a period, how about run on sentences. my eyes are bleeding trying to decipher what you wrote. also,( and i'm going to repeat myself which i don't like to do) , how can u say that u can't compare acedemics? of course u can, its called pssa's, sat's, all those big tests that westmont has always scored better on then the rest of the area schools. stop denying the facts. also, plain and simple, answer me this, who has won the all-sports trophy the past seven years. if you answer correctly i'll give u a prize.

Ok Rog first u dont have facts do u have the numbers from all the area school or did u get them from the always correct Trib Dem doubtful. Two I dont really care about the trophies and never will. Third be a real man not an internet tough guy. Finally what are the McCort football players on, well its easy u see on the bench 2 days a week for 2 hours on the squat rack same thing In four weeks of regular lifting not even at McCort the summer of my 9th grade year i gained 15-19 lbs all natural. So ur steriod theory bust, but nice try. Is the only team lifting up on the hill the golfers and the womans bball team? the only two sports were u folk actually dominate. Just a thought. Perhaps Crimsn'67 knows more but BM did in fact send out 'feelers' by advertising for a coach...several months ago. So, they are in fact still exploring the possibility & hope to find the best suited individual to 'lead' the program!
