So your saying that is taylor kid (who averages less that 5ppg and 2rpg) is going to make up for a d1 prospect. I'm not making excusses for anybody but maybe his D has been a little soft because he has been playing 10 games on a stress fracture, which I'm pretty sure that is going to effect your movement. I've seen the team play about six or seven times, and taylor (who I'm not trying to cut down at all) seems nervous and misses lay-ups, but he hustles and you can't take that away from him.
I guess we shall see Saturday what a replacement he is. If of course if Gowen doesn't play.

To the person that said Gowen does not crash the boards, has obviously not seen him play this year. He is a very good offensive rebounder. I would bet that he gets 4-6 points per game just from hitting the offensive glass.
My money is on him playing this Saturday. He is a gamer so expect him to be in the lineup.
Someone asked why he should play in a game that has no effect on the season.......WHAT? This is for the LHAC Championship, so yes it does have an effect on the season.
Gowen will play.

d1 prospect huh? 6'5" wing guards come a dime a dozen in college. gowan may get his pts and boards b/c hes playin against little 6 foot kids wit no bounce. come college time theres gonna b not just 6'5' wings but 6'5' wings that can jump out the gym. match gowan up against one of em and his hanging floating double pumping layup runner shots get stuffed in his face. and same goes on d. its easy to play d blocks shots and get boards over 6'3' centers who youre just flat out taller than in hs. get someone more athletic and who works harder on him and gowan is exposed no doubt. and i still dont think he will play.

and u think 4 def boards a game is good? for a kid listed at 6'6" who is consistently one of the tallest if not the tallest kid on the floor and who supposedly crashes the boards hard, wouldnt u expect that avg to b a little higher?

You obviously have some serious beef with Gowen, you are going out of your way to hate on him.
As for your little rant on how he isnt a D1 player, he may not be able to do the 'floater' things that have been proven very successfull, but he can shoot, and that is useful anywhere at any college. west point, psu, and newjersy tech. must disagree with you.
and for the last time, what you have been seeing of him, has been off of one leg.
