Jesus hates McCort because ________________ .
What bowl was Pitt in last year, D-nice? I mean, were they not eligible, and still didn't get a bowl? Yea, shut up.
I just hope JoePa and the boys run the score up and go for it on 4th and 1 every dang time.
Jimmy Clausen, meet Dan Connor.

Re: Penn State vs Notre Dame 2007
is Dan Conner going to prank call him? I'm just saying that neither team is going to contend for a national title, I did not mention a certain school from the city of champions.

Is this an inference that CW ran up the score on UPS last yr.??
Unless my memory fails me ND had their JV squad in entire 4th Qtr.!!

And yea, I'm sure DC has already introduced himself via post midnight cell calls!!

I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."
The Football God Travis Thomas was in in the 4th. Rumor has it he's good for 3 t.d.'s when he even is near a football field.
I had never seen a fat man with such a bigger grin in the 4th quarter of a blow-out win vs. an average opponent. Where was that look at the next week...?

Re: Penn State vs Notre Dame 2007
I don't think PSU will be as average as some on here think. Lets look at what they have in returning starters or guys who played a lot last yr...
DE - Josh Gaines jr
DT -
DT -
DE -
LB - Sean Lee jr
LB - Dan Connor sr
LB -
DB - Tony Davis jr
DB -
DB - Anthony Scirrotto jr
DB -Justin King jr
QB - Anthony Morelli sr
RB - (Austin Scott) sr - was hurt last yr
FB - (Matt Hahn) sr - played a lot last year
OL -
OL - Gerald Cadogan jr
OL - AQ Shipley jr
OL - Rich Ohmberger jr
OL - John Shaw sr
TE - Andrew Quarless Soph
WR - Deon Butler jr, Jordan Norwood jr, Derrick Williams jr
Yes, there are holes to fill on the Dline. How well the Dline comes together will determine how well Connor and Lee perform in the big games. The DBs will be arguably even stronger than the LBs with All-Big Ten guys such as Scirrotto and King.
I cannot wait to see what the offense does this year. If Morelli can make big plays in big games then they should be fine in gut check times. He doesn't have to have big numbers but with the talent he has at WR it will tough not to have some big plays happening.
I'm not saying they will be national champs but there certaintly is a buzz going around about this being a good year for P-S-U. If they want to get to the BCS they will have to step up big time against the toughest big ten schedule in quite some time...Wisc, Mich, Iowa, OSU. Time will tell though.
