From what I have read, it seems the Quips were crying and not looking to pop a cap in anyones .....
THE AGONY:
Aliquippa players were obviously devastated by their 15-point collapse and loss to Prep Charter in the Class AA boys' final.
So many of them ran off the floor at the horn that the Huskies had no one to share in the postgame handshake.
As the Prep Charter players were lining up for the medals ceremony, one hearty warrior emerged from the tunnel.
Aliquippa's Antonio Reddic came back, crossed the floor and went down Prep Charter's lineup to shake each opponent's hand.
"They showed goodsportsmanship by coming back on the floor and shaking our hands," Huskies senior Markieff Morris said. "It was hard to lose a lead like that. I would feel the same way."
The Quips, still weeping in agony, did eventually line up long enough to receive their silver medals and the runner-up trophy and applaud Prep Charter's gold.
