Re: Scores
Heights down Forest Hills in Sidman 8-7.
Brett Vescovi pitched another gem with 10 strikeouts but allowed 3 walks.
The score was 8-3 going into the 7th and scovi was pulled because of his pitch count but the reliever was able to hold on to complete the upset.
All but one of the CH starters had at least one hit. Ben Thomas, Mitch Thomas, Jordan Fees, Jake Shaffer, and Vescovi each had 2.

Re: Scores
Bedford 13- Cambria Heights 3 in 6 innings
this game wasn't even close to what the score says. the CH coach pulled brett vescovi in the bottom of the 6th for, what appears to me, no reason at all and puts in a kid who hasn't played in a single game all year long. He didn't even let vescovi in the game(he was 3-3 at the plate). Then after that kid cant throw strikes and walks about 5 guys, he brings in two more kids that haven't played all year long. To me it seemed like the coach just gave up.
to me i think they should have left scovi in. he only had a pitch count of 81 through six innings
