Gwaltney Jr.

Post by The Ancient Enemy »

We know that WVU has a long history of recruiting great men, evidenced by our BC colleague Hollywood. We also know that they recruit stand-up gentlemen because of Head Coach Rich Rodriguez's public laughter and sarcasm at the notion that WVU would ever accept a troublemaking, thug transfer like Willie Williams. Rodriguez himself was never caught in the middle of a job fiasco where he snookered more money from WVU by pulling the wool over their eyes and convincing them he is a great coach (even a "dynamo" by some accounts) whenever there are multiple examples of his coaching prowess being pretty lackluster at best, not to mention his dumbfounded, long, awkward gazes at the media when he is asked any question whatsoever. No, WVU has never employed anyone of any questionable character. Pac-Man Jones and Chris Henry were never problems until they entered the NFL, right? Super Hall of Famer Jason Gwaltney was another WVU player who has his head in the right place. Now, curiously enough, Noel Devine has signed a letter of intent to play at WVU. ESPN.com article quotes Rich Rodriguez as saying: "We know he is working hard to meet all his eligibility requirements, and we're confident he can get that done." I'm sure he will, too, coach. And I'm sure it'll all be done very legitimately. In a testament to Rich Rodriguez's insane coaching prowess (he's a dynamo), in this recruiting class Rich Rod has once again failed to acknowledge that there are 2 sides to every football game: offense and defense. Somebody in the NFL better hurry up and give this guy a huge contract before your neighbor beats you to it.

Long-heralded college football mastermind Mark Schlabach has once again picked WVU to play for a national championship. This marks about the 5th straight year that WVU will play for and win the national title, if you go by ESPN, who is always right about everything.

What if women tell you you have a lion in your pants? Does that mean you aren't allowed to go to that town? That's discrimination. Somebody call Don Imus, I mean Jesse Jackson.
