Re: Would You Want this Kid in your Locker Room?
The point is what APk said already: look at his language. And I agree, I'd be very irritated if I was Les Miles, or any of those LSU players. You don't insult older players to make yourself look better, when you aren't even on a team yet. If he's so worried about USC, then don't take visits anywhere else. And I wanna see him go out there and beat out the 46 5-star running backs USC has right now that are freshmen and sophomores. "People compare me to Reggie Bush", yeah, every coach in America right now is telling every RB recruit "you remind us of Reggie Bush and we're gonna use you like him". Give me a break.
Pete Carroll's biggest challenge with this kid isn't to make him a great player, it's to make him a decent human being.

Re: Would You Want this Kid in your Locker Room?
Took a look at USC's RB recruits from the past 5 years. You can see all the players listed there, not just the RB's. It really appears as though USC does a pretty poor job of developing players, actually. When you take a look at their 3 and 4* players, not many of them have reached superstardom. No 3* players have. The big names you know from USC's past few years are pretty much all 5* players. Now, in comparison to someone like Penn State, who seems to do a real good job of making 3* players into 5* ones, its important to note that USC doesn't have to develop as many kids as someone like Penn State would have to, based on USC being probably the top recruiting team every season. But still, there's dozens of 4* players who did nothing, and no 3* players at all were made into players whose names I recognized. Take it however you want, I just thought it was interesting.
This is what USC does out there in the sun: sumo wrestles with Ray Liotta.

Here's the USC RB's from the past few classes:
2008 (this recruiting year)
======================
- Curtis McNeal: no stars have been given out yet on Rivals
2007:
======================
- Broderick Green: 4-stars: Pete Carroll told this kid he will be given immediate playing time and used as a power-back. That may be true, or a successful attempt at telling him exactly what Penn State did in order to get him from PSU when Green wavered. We'll see how it turns out. Green is huge and strong as Hell and should get playing time.
- Joe McKnight: 5-stars: The next two players were I believe two of the top 3 RB recruits in the country last year. Number 1 and number 3. That's a lot of clout to beat out if you're already a year behind them.
- Marc Tyler: 5-stars
2006:
======================
- Kenny Ashley: 4-stars: No idea.
- Stanley Havili: 4-stars: No idea.
- Stafon Johnson: 5-stars: No clue what ever happened to this kid.
- Emmanuel Moody: 4-stars: Sees a lot of playing time. Saw this kid play at Coppell when I was at UNT and he's very good.

The coaches may tell him that he is like Reggie Bush but they should be telling him that he is like Maurice Clarett. A decent player that allowed everything to go his head and now where is he prison???
would u take dan marino or terry bradshaw?
marino-no superbowl wins, awesome stats
- lost because he was on a bad team, great qb
bradshaw- superbowls, not terrific stats
- won because he was on a good team, good qb
thats my argument...if i cant get my point across with that.. im givin up
Not really understanding what you are asking here but I will take a winner on my team anyday. I do not care one bit about talent or stats in sports all I care about for my team and my favorite teams is wins. I do not understand why you dont appreciate winning.
