Freak, he called you smug because you said he was intellectually challenged, and he was right about that. Obviously, count is a smart guy, even if I disagree with him on things.

Count, how is smugness a Christian thing? Sure, lots of Christians are smug, but lots of athiests are very smug also. Smugness, as I understand it, means an arrogant self-righteousness. I think everyone on this string has been smug at times.

no i was calling you smug because you insulted my intelligence. Grant it that not all Christians and probably not even a majority of them are smug; however, it's those few that make up that stereotype. A lot of them hear that you're not Christian and kind of treat you like you aren't human or that you are on a lower level than they are. And i agree wildcat, there are atheists that are like that as well (i'm not an atheist...i'm just saying, they're there too).
