Bedford Gazette hired a real winner

The Gazette did a great job in finding Ryan Spring for the sports department last year. I talked to him recently at a baseball game and he really knows his stuff. He's not originally from here, but does an outstanding job in researching our area for his stories. And the feature he wrote about playing Oakmont, the U.S. Open golf course, was a great read. And he and the other two writers can be commended for their work on college signings and the youth leagues.
