Best pro club team

Ok i agree there are better teams barcelona is a much better team then milan...... but i still think milan deseves to be one of the best pro teams in the world and you cant disagree

I saw back awile ago someone said boca is one of the best teams.....interesting opinion..... but i really disagree i could see them being the best team in south america possibly...but there are many better teams out there i would bet 10 bucks that man city could beat them and they arnt a top team on anybodys list.

Last time I checked, AC Milan have been in the Champions League final 3 of the past five years, winning twice. Barcelona has been there once and won. Man U has not been there since 1999. Chelsea has yet to get there. Real Madrid has not been there since 2002.

I recognize that the Champions League is not the only measure of success. But when a team makes the finals of a tournament that includes the best teams in Europe three out of five times and wins twice, that is enough for me to say they are the best club. They might not have the best talent, but they consistantly perform.

That is one thing for AC Milan, they are consistent. but like i said, they rely too much on Kaka... oh well... he's one of the best players in the world right now, so i guess they should...

Well this topic is a little old, but i dont care...wildcat you're showing your naiveness (i think that's a word?) here. Yes Milan has been in the CL final a few times and won it a couple times recently, but you also have to look at the domestic schedules of English sides and the rest of Europe. England is the only major country that does not have a winter break, instead they pack that time with more games than normal. so the players dont get a midseason rest like the rest of the continent. Also the quality of play in England is much higher, yes the italian teams are chock full of talent, but look at the quality of the bottom half of the italian tables vice the bottom half of the English tables. So when you combine playing better teams on a tighter schedule on the domestic side while trotting across the continent it makes it very very difficult to succeed in both. Becuase of this most english teams focus most of their energy on the Premier league then use whatever is left for the CL...unless of course your a scouser and are resigned to the fact that now that the 70's are over you will never win the league again and must focus only on Europe.

The Italian teams are good. But AC Milan is the only Great team. maybe Inter too... we'll see this year.
