Take away the opening kickoff...WHY.....they executed it ....fh didn't stop it!!
And take away interception in endzone???? Again, WHY??? The FH kid threw it & #3 made the play......
Take away my Uncle's Weasel & he's my Aunt!!!!!!! You're really desperate/grasping for straws!!!

Look back @ WH 2001....yea they blasted the Rangers, were everyone's darlings and BM rolled them late in the year!!

Hey Vman since you are so good at jumping on everyones intelligence on here lets take a look at the quote that is on the bottom of your posts.
I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."

What exactly are you saying here, that you are thankful for being stupid enough to go Pitt ? Man you gotta admire a guy who is proud enough of being stupid that he puts it on every post.

Well first of all, FH did not play Westmont in 2001. So that was goof up #1 on your part. Maybe a little research will help you in this department. 2nd, I'm sure you know that "reding" was a typing error. It happens to everyone. Who makes fun of people for typing errors? Those who can't defend the issues at hand, that's who. By the way, I noticed the other day you spelled "literally" with 2 t's (litterally). Now I'm sure that IS a spelling error on your part. Third, my mention about the kickoff return and the interception in the endzone was to show everyone that the "relative ease" with which BM supposedly beat FH was really non-existant. A play here and there made a difference, not the total domination associated with relative ease. Relative ease was PSU over FIU. Even Crimson09Crazy said that McCort "survived on some big plays". Where was the relative ease? 4th, why do you keep harping about my criticism of certain 17 year old kids? When are YOU going to defend them? You must agree with my assessments or you would have defended them. Instead, you keep saying I'm calling them out. Out where??? Again, if you can be praised at 17, you can be criticized at 17. Goes with the territory.

Okay there johnny come lately...that is not a Vman quote...it is a qoute from Jerome Bettis(you know the Bus) which was explained in detail on this site. It occurred at the Dapper Dan Banquet in Pgh last yaer...Joe Pa disclosed that he recruited Jerome & wanted to convert him to a nose tackle...when the Bus spoke his first words were >

When you make ridiculous firing salvos statements like this:
El-Moldo wrote:How did vman ever get thru school with that type of reding comprehension?
You are opening yourself up!!!

Then your confusion confounds me...
El-Moldo wrote:Well first of all, FH did not play Westmont in 2001. So that was goof up #1 on your part. Maybe a little research will help you in this department.
But you had previously written:
El-Moldo wrote:Let me tell you McCort guys a little something. Back in 2001, Westmont was EVERYBODIES favorite in the LHAC to start the season. All the skill people were back from the previous year, when they opened the season with a 35-2 shellacking of the Rangers. .
I admit...I am confused...I was using your data ....which was obviously ambiguous and unclear. Boi, I'm not going to even try to sort thru your association of ideas!!

You must be feling like Donbo in the 1st Qtr. when he didn't know if it was Tuesday or Brooklyn!!

YOU are confused??? How about befuddled? About Westmont I wrote "Back in 2001, Westmont was everybody's favorite in the LHAC to start the season. All the skill people were back from the PREVIOUS YEAR WHEN THEY OPENED THE SEASON WITH A 35-2 SHELLACKING OF THE RANGERS". YOU couldn't understand that???? And you're questioning MY reading comprehension because I typed "reading" wrong?????? And you thought my sentence was AMBIGUOUS???? C'mon vman. You can do better than that? And you give people advice about their lives for a living?

How many penalties, for how many yards? Coach Salem was quoted in the Trib for saying he likes his defense playing hard and aggressive, which led to a "few" penalties. I guess the BM offense also was playing agressive by all their penalties too. From what I saw, this game could have been REALLY ugly score-wise, except every other play the red and gold crew were moving the yard marker the wrong way. They better tighten it up on both sides before they play a few of the more experienced/ favorite LHAC teams.

Trible A Rangers? I love it.

Anyways. To the game. First off, I got to give credit to Coach Kenny Salem and his staff for their initial game plan. It was a total reverse of last year (Deep cover 2 with Safeties wide on the hash). Coming out in a legit 5-4 baffled the Rangers. Finally in the second half FH started throwing the ball deep. If they would of done that earlier in the game the outcome may have been different.

This game really was a tale of two halves...but McCort was able to capitalize on FH's mistakes in the 1st half where FH wasn't in the second half.

Each team looked good at times...each team looked bad at times. Period.

I have to disagree with Defrances not looking good. Personally, I wasn't that impressed with Jordan last year. I thought Seidel and Barbin did a good job of making him look good.

Friday night I saw a QB in charge of his team. He showed poise and made good decisions most of the time.

Wadley was impressive at tailback in the first half.

Both of these teams played sloppy, but both teams are replacing a lot from the year before. However, McCort IS the team to beat again this year in the LHAC. Expect both teams to improve greatly by the time playoffs rolls around.

As far as the better program. McCort has had a good run as of late. There is no disputing that. But seriously...7 D6 titles and a host of Conference titles to two D6's and One LHAC title...C'mon. Keep living the dream.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!
