More truths...

PSU plays Pitt in football and Pitt wins 12-0...or at least that will be the last thing JokePa remembers when his last Depends is changed...

PSU plays Pitt in basketball and Pitt wins by 25 and Jan Jagla sings soprano after being castrated by Chev Troutman...

7 F*%#@!g YEARS AGO!

PSU hoops lost to Stoneybrook man. This isn't a basketball topic, douche. And if it were, sweet 16 and DONE every year. We'll see how you fare against Duke this year.

What did PSU do in it's 1 BCS appearance? WON

What did Pitt do in it's 1 BCS appearance? Lost by 40 to a team that isn't even known about anymore.

When was the last time Pitt was in a bowl game and won? Better yet, when was the last time they actually beat someone with clout in major college football?

The line opened at 14 and quickly went to 18. I don't like the line at all. People are too comfortable. ND still has a lot of talented athletes. They aren't as bad as they looked a week ago, I'm sure of that. I just wouldn't lay that many points.

The Pitt fans always crack me up. Nobody cares about their program including them. I'm not really sure if they are Pitt fans or just PSU haters. It is comedic to me...seriously. I mean Pitt is hilarious. Rip PSU's schedule...it's all good. Look at every team out there in college football and you'll see the same stinkin thing. Eastern Mich, Grambling, etc, etc...look at your schedule this year and you'll see why tickets are basically free. Robert Morris may end up getting a bigger crowd at their games! Enjoy the football this weekend fellas. I'm going to enjoy Penn State and Notre Dame this weekend.

Maybe Vegas is aware of the prophesy set forth by the Metro-Sexual Kid. Dark days are ahead of all college teams that oppose him.

I can't even name all the reasons off the top of my head that I hate Jimmy Clausen. I could possibly write a book about this.

WPIAL Titan doesn't even know 5 players on Pitt's team.

to find pitts last meaningful football wins you would have to go back to 2004 when they beat notre dame and wvu at the end of the season, and in 2003 they beat va tech...

I don't know, @ least from my end the back & forth re. UPS & Pitt is good natured, as it is with most on here (w/ obvious exception(s))!! And the BE is in way better shape than the nitty naysayers portray....remember Vman posted a pre-season conference breakdown post, which had the BE behind only the SEC....well here is most recent Conf. rankings!!! And the BE has upgraded ooc schedules in the upcoming years!!!!!

NCAA Men's Football - Conference Rankings (2007-2008)

Only games against Division I opponents are counted.
Rankings update every 5 mins.
Last updated - Fri Sep 7 07:40:19 PDT 2007

Rank Conference Avg. Index Avg. SOS SOS Rank Teams
1 Big East 55.78 38.54 13 8
2 Southeastern 54.94 38.89 12 12
3 Pacific-10 53.28 44.58 7 10
4 Big Ten 53.23 42.42 9 11
5 Big 12 52.42 44.44 8 12
6 Atlantic Coast 51.79 47.22 6 12
7 Western Athletic 50.04 48.15 5 9
8 Independents 49.94 58.34 2 4
9 Conference USA 48.86 50.00 4 12
10 Mountain West 47.96 38.89 11 9

And jumping 'round a bit.... TAE, I think this (weekly review is awesome) & hope you will continue through the year!!

And seriously, enjoy the UPS/ND game!!!! JC begins his drive for the Heisman!!!!!

Uh actually, Vman is on preseason record as predictring a 2-6 start for the Irish.....not enough time to explain why this yr. is just a bump in the road but the ND class of '04 (current seniors) is main reason....following this yr ND will be a top ranked team for several yrs to come, so enjoy the whopping Saturday.

C'mon...Doesn't everyone here know that the reason why God painted the sky blue and white is because He is a Penn State fan???

Also, doesn't everyone know that JoePa is the mastermind of THE GRAND EXPERIMENT, where his players come into the program perfect, then get better from there???

I actually feel bad for Penn State this weekend. I heard Jimmy Clausen in a news conference today say, "I will make it rain on the field on Saturday" and we all know what he calls his short pass and long pass. Fire and Brimstone respectivley. Just watch yourselves if you're on hand at the game on Saturday. If you get caught looking at the field too much, you might just turn into a pillar of salt.
