lhacbigfan, watch out on how much you adore your richland football squad. granted, they are decent so far (after 1 week woohooo!!) but dont over think them quite yet, they might not be all you are cracking them up to be.

about Richland They beat a PC team the same PC team that was dubbed as "the only challenge left on McCorts schedule".......

McCort had a rough start in Patton CH drove the ball down to the one and couldnt punch it in but ultimatley led to a safety for the Highlanders and ended up being their only score

Offensively Eric Lowry made some huge plays with 4 TD's
and Special Teams looked fairly good with Schrey taking a punt down to the 1

any reports on the other games?

I am not even a Richland fan, I was just making a prediction that they would be good, and with their shutout win over PC tonight, they look like this will finally be the year to make the playoffs.

richland looks like the real deal...mccort looks like they dont know what they want to do...they are playing very sloppy football...id expect more from the mccort coaches and seniors...one thing is for sure...the city section of the lhac looks pretty tough this year...
jtn, richland, mccort and westy all undefeated after two weeks!!! when has that happened before?

McCort's run Defense is good pass defense is alright but has room for improvments
Anthony Caperelli is as good as anyone in this confrence
They are giving up 4.5 points per game so they should be fine there

The Offensive Line is where all the mistakes are coming from
Starting 2 Sophs is where i think the problem is It will shape up eventually

The RB duo of Lowry and Wadley have the ability to take it to the house at anytime

so yes its sloppy and im not making excuses but i think they will get their act together

Did Bedford get that much better in one week? or Jtown not play up to their capabilities? or are they not that good?

First of all they are 2-0! What do they want to do?? Focusing on the '0', they want to Run & Throw w/ equal efficiency! Sloppy? A bit but look @ O line last eve > a 1st yr starter @ Center, a soph guard & 2 soph tackles !! And related to senior leadership the only returning starters on offense, on the field last eve were the qb, the te and Ants Capparelli!!! That's 3.....and R James returns next week.....maint point > this is a young team especially on the O line & they will reduce penalties, miss less assingments & improve!!! And BM will get better via experience gained... there are sophs & jrs all over the field on both sides of the balll....Unlike our antediluvian antagonist, Vman also recognized that fh is in a similiar situation (numerous sophs & jrs on both sides of ball) & they were impressive in an initial tough contest, prevailed handily this wk & will improve also!
I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."

Bishop Carroll is flat out bad from what i saw at the game on friday. Shrift and Julock cant run the offense that Sponsky installed for Lauer and Forcellini -- theyre just no skilled enough. CC showed me some good stuff, but granted that it's against a reeling BC squad who probably wont have a legit shot to win until week 7 (or whenever they play somerset). And even that's not a given. If they lose to Somerset and Bedford I have no problem saying that an 0-10 season could be on the horizon for the huskies (they dont play Heights this year). Bussard's boys also showed some class by taking a knee after running the ball down to the 1yard line with a minute left to play in the 4th. Big rivalry game you know they couldve rubbed it in their faces by scoring an extra 7 pts to make it 51-7 but the devils showed some class. Kudos to them. CC vs PC should be a good one next week.

McCort/Richland will be an interesting matchup no doubt.

I'll be clueing in on Eric (Division I) Lowery against Danny Fenton. I'm sure since Eric "plays big time College Coverage" that Master Salem will have him one on one (with no help over the top) with Fenton.

If Salem does that (and why wouldn't he since Lowery is D1), then it should be an interesting game.

If McCort plays a cover 2, 4, or 3 they are 10 points better than Richland.

OG-Lowery is a saftey so i dont think he will be locked up against Danny Fenton. PC took fenton away quite well by stacking 2 guys over him. So basically u are saying all that McCort needs to do is play zone and they are 10 points better? That is a bit naive? I will be cuing in on Salem's comments in the paper, boy is he quite to single people out and blow up peoples heads.
