USF has a good team and they will be a solid teams for years to come but they are not the second best team in the nation. They barely pulled out a win at an decent Auburn team and beat a very very overrated WVU team at home. If South Flordia would play Tennessee, Michigan, Georgia, Penn State next week I am not sure I will put my money on them. Those are teams that are at the bottom of the Top 25. Im cheering for them but I am affraid they will be embarrassed in the BCS bowl against a Ohio State or LSU.

Boston College is another example of a team taking advantage of the parity in college football. They struggled against ND and I feel the exact same way about them.

Matt Grothe is as good as anyone....

But i see where you are coming from I hope they remain undeafeated when they come to Pitt December 1 cause that might raise the attendence to 40,000

But the parity thing again you say decent Auburn team but i say best team in the SEC and i expect them to beat LSU Saturday this is a messed up season and very very very hard to predict i honestly have no clue who will be in New Orleans for the Title

Maybe this is what the NCAA needs to have. When it starts going crazy over the prospect of a Boston College vs. South Florida National Title game, they'll realize that maybe a playoff system isn't a bad idea. And, It'll be a guaranteed way to let one of their "powers" have a chance every year.

This is the one thing the BCS hopes never happens. And i'm loving every minute of it. This season is great, and I hope they all continue to be this way and it forces the powers that be to make a format to correctly name a national champion, like it does in EVERY OTHER SPORT.

Here's hoping...

I would say that Florida will confirm that Auburn is a little better than decent.

Yeah id say Auburn is pretty darn good...along with dozens of other teams...

Of all years, this year would make a great playoff...even if there were as many as 16 teams (way too many- yet would still be very interesting)
Think march madness in December! Id love it!
