Battle of the Bishops (BC NOT included)
This should be a great game. Both teams will have plenty of tape of eachother considering this is week 8.
BM brings 29.5 pts/game to the table to BG's 15.7 while passing per game are as close as they can get at 150 per game...
BM 150 rushing yards/gm to BGs 100
I havent seen much of BG play, but wining at CC last week is enough for me to know they play good ball
I was surprised to see BG held the Rangers to 79 yards on 20 carries and even more shocked to see McCort held them to 14 yards on 23 carries!
Altho both teams have played much, much better since the beginning of the year the past couple weeks have looked great...(BG's win over CC and BM's last two wins against westmont/jtown...granted westy and jtown are not great, mccort DOMINATED for 4 quarters..something they havent done the rest of the season
Anyway you cut it i think this should be yet another great football game
also looking forward to FH-Jtown and RIchland- CC

Re: Battle of the Bishops (BC NOT included)
as an observer i'm suprised by the utter lack of effort by the regulars on here haha
with that said...what's the breakdown of this game? BG has some huge recievers all over 6 feet i believe. I've only watched two games this year and I haven't seen anyone consistently challenge the secondary of mccort. Will this be BG's gameplan tonight to be pass heavy?? what do you gents think?

If McCort plays the way they know how it shouldnt be that close
The weather also benefits mcCort with the running game of Eric Lowry and it could cause problems for the passing attack of BG
They may have Big WR's But the Crusher secondary of Varga and Lowry have shut down some tall WR's allready and i dont see this as being too different
BM 30 BG 13

Re: Battle of the Bishops (BC NOT included)
In the words of Lee Corso not so fast my friend...I believe this one will be much close than expected. BG has a quarterback that has been airing it out quite well since his return from mono. I look for him to have just the type of touch and poise to make a few big plays. Also of note is BGs WR McDannell (In basketball plays like former mccort great O'Connor) is racking up the numbers behind 2 different QBs and seems to be almost uncoverable with his combination of size and speed. I think mccort will have the right mix of pass rush (cruz) and DBs (Lowry/Shrey) to hold them in check. I do look for a big game out of BGs deceptive offense look for mcconnel a decent outing considering its mccorts D. I look for BG to keep it close and pull it out in the end to save their playoff tails. BG 29 BM 28
I to miss the comic relief provided by all of the regulars and regulators, on here which begs the question "Where have all the cowboys gone?"
