Sideling Hill Basketball 2007-08

Post by TarHeelHopeful »

With the new basketball season just around the corner, what are everyones thoughts of the SHL this year? Who's going to be strong? Who may surprise some people? What players are going to lead their teams? Preseason Rankings? etc.

The Teepee Report.

The 2007-2008 Southern Fulton Indians.

Inside sources reveal that camp went extremely well for the Indians. Looking at the roster for this upcoming season was a little different than years past. I think a lot of the run-and-gun is gone, but on the brighter note, the Indians return a few players with big game experience. I think down the stretch that experience will help the cause to bring home another D-V title. Not a big team. Not even a long team. This team will win as well as lose a lot of close ballgames. I don't think they'll be making many highlight reals, but they will get the work done. Tenacity is key for them

Best Aspects: Coaching, experience, fundamentaly sound
Worst Aspects: Size, Speed, Unproven Interior

What would a reasonable preseason Boys Basketball ranking be? If you were to rank the teams in the Sideling Hill League(Chestnut Ridge, Everett, Fannett-Metal, Forbes Road, Hyndman, McConnellsburg, Northern Bedford, Tussey Mountain, Southern Fulton).I've been out of the area and I was wondering what people thought.
