Bedford fails standarized testing??

Post by D-nice »

That's O.K. Bedford is still number one baby!!!!! those tests are stupid not the faculty or students. Bedford is still way better than Tussey, just because the faculty cannot teach the students to read and write at a proficient level does not mean a thing. and just because all the other schools actually are in no danger of being taken over by the state for poor results is simply meaningless, cause Bedford Rocks!!!!!!

i guess according to this, the high school and the middle school at bedford did not meet the requirements, but the school district passed. another school in the county that did no pass was tussy mountain high school.

as for blair, cambria, and somerset counties... central high school of the spring cove school district, williamsburg high school, conemaugh valley elementary school, johnstown middle school, northern cambria middle school, penn cambria middle school, westmont middle school, north star middle school, windber middle school, and the Altoona area school district as a whole all failed (with Altoona high school, juniata elementary, logan elementary, pleasant valley elementary, theodore roosevelt junior high all failing)

so needless to say, bedford is not alone in this situation. there are numerous schools in the area that are having trouble with passing the pssa and meeting the no child left behind standards. and the failing of the school doesn't mean the children at the school are stupid or anything like that...it just means they didn't meet the ridiculous requirements of the NCLBA

Why does one school have, say, 4 requirements to reach, while another has 10?
