Moldo,
You like to point things out so I will point a few items out to you.
1. Being a member of a division 1 allows any one in that division to share in any honors that they may earn. For example any player from the MAC or the WAC conferences can earn the heisman. This also applies to Division championship division formally 1 AA
2. You want to say that St Francis is not good football but there 3 Rangers that were trying their best to go to St Francis to play for the red flash this year and they did not receive any scholarship offers. What does that say about the Ranger players if NEC football is that terrible?

I have the names but I will not but them on here because I feel that it will serve no purpose. Moldo I have said it before that you are angry and jealous that a crusher goes on and does well. It kills you, so you try to demean and belittle this young man’s accomplishments.

I looked up the stats that everyone is discussing and here is the link. As you will see the Division 1 is split into the two divisions. I think what the article user6 posted was saying that a local athlete is playing a high level.

Enjoy

sharpshooter: You are the coach of Division I-aa Delaware, who can give out 63 scholarships per team. You have a choice to play 1) Maryland, who has 85 scholarship players on their team, or 2) St. Francis who has 30 scholarship players on it's team. Who would you rather play and why? The answer would probably be St. Francis because the level of competition is below your level, AND CERTAINLY below that of Division I-A Maryland. Any way you look at it, the level of play in the Northeast Conference is WAY below that of other conferences. It's not my fault. That's the way it is. Whether a McCort kid is on that team or not. What can I say. You can't compare NEC kids with other Division I, I-aa kids in statistics.

Moldo,
Let's review and I will slow it down so that you can follow.
1. Scott goes to a school where 3 of your very own Rangers wanted to go but they were not wanted.
2. Scott is not only on the team but is playing and playing better than most players that are up to 5 years older than him
3. The rules are that any one in that division can be ranked with everyone else. These are not my or your rules but the rules of the NCAA.

Those are the facts. So your trying to put some one or an entire conference down is amusing.

You didn't answer my previous question. Also I invite everyone to the College/Pro Sports section, under the topic of Panther Basketball. Please read everything WPIAL~Titan has to say about the BIG DIFFERENCE in play between Major Division I Basketball and lower level division I basketball. It's remarkable the difference in play. THE SAME HOLDS TRUE WHEN COMPARING I-aa MID-MAJOR (NEC teams) FOOTBALL WITH DIVISION I AND OTHER I-AA FOOTBALL TEAMS. NIGHT AND DAY.
