Pre-Season State Rankings Are Out !!!
Re: Pre-Season State Rankings Are Out !!!
Trust me, the human eraser would've had a large impact on the game last season.
In the two games where the Devils were also "learning to play together" (4 new starters as well) they beat Blairsville and a 20-win Conemaugh Twp. team each by 30 on consecutive nights.
But this is this year, so there's not much sense talking about the last. CC will most likely play CT for the championship of their tournament should they win against Blairsville.....but only if CT can defeat a Penn Cambria squad led by Rise Magazine's Pittsburgh Metro Area Honorable Mention player, Crippen Taylor. Cough cough overrated cough cough.

The fact of the matter is that even if he was playing, westmont still wouldve won that game. The amazing thing about Westmont last year was that if one thing wasnt clicking they could easily go to another. Therefore, if Trotz or Young were being shut down by Holsinger, Stephenson and Balog would've stepped it up from the 3 point line, or Watson would've made an amazing pass to get the ball in the perfect spot for Young or Trotz to score. On the defensive side, Westmont's quickness would've made up for the size that Holsinger brought to the table. The fact of the matter is that this Westmont team was one of the greatest in LHAC history and you shouldn't say anything to try to take that away from them.

They were good, but the Crushers featuring Lewis, Cruz, O'Connor(his Junior year), Wadley, Varga team would have been too much for them to handle.

In regards to Crippen Taylor, I can't even say that he is over rated, the fact that he was in Rise is a joke, and so is he. Last night against the Red Devils, he talked a lot more than he performed. He only scored 10 points, and was visably talking smack the entire game, even with his team losing my 20+ points. I was embarrassed just watching him, he should probably learn to let his game speak for itself, but I have a feeling it won't be too loud.
