Steelers @ Patriots....

Post by Coach »

Might as well start a thread and maybe get some discussion for today. I think Pittsburgh is good enough to beat them, but they are going to have to control the clock and run the ball. If they can speed the game up by slowing it down (sounds strange) then I think they have a shot. For NE, it just gets to that point of getting up to that same level for every game. They've had a few night games in a row and emotionally they could end up with a letdown type of game sometime.

Pittsburgs safety really had some encouraging words at the before the game....if anyone saw sports center the day after... maybe too much confidence too little encouragment....poor steelers cockiness gets you no where

don't you love it how one steeler speaks out and suddenly they're all cocky? fmchick...no offense, but you don't know what you're talking about. one guy guaranteed victory, who was that one guy? a 2nd year 3rd string safety that only starts due to injury. the comments he made never should have blown up like they did... the media had a feast with it.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

you pretty much said the exact same thing i did....so why do i have no idea of what i am talking about...
it is rediculous how the steelers have to talk big to make them look big enough to win a game!

the reason i said you have no idea what you're talking about is because you said "poor steelers cockiness gets you no where" and now "it is rediculous how the steelers have to talk big to make them look big enough to win a game!" what i'm saying is that smith was the only one running his mouth...this is not the entire team talking smack or anything like what you are implying...it was one guy, and a guy that's only starting due to injury. i think it's ridiculous (learn to spell!) that people blew this out of proportion the way they did.
