Every school had their share of felons, it's just that PSU gets more attention because they HAD one of the cleaner programs in the country. Two players from Texas A&M were recently arrested for armed robbery and drug possession. Every school has their problems, Paterno deals with them differently than others. Maybe it isn't right to wait until they are convicted to hand out the punishment, but everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I think Paterno learned that when dealing with Anwar Phillips a few years ago. He was charged with rape, so Paterno kicked him off the team. Phillips enrolled at PSU-Altoona for a year while awaiting his trial. When the trial came he was found NOT GUILTY!!! Phillips was fortunate enough that Paterno allowed him to join the team a year later. I think the same will happen with Austin Scott's case. From what I have heard this girl told the same story a few years earlier and was lying. She also got pissed because after she had sex with Scott, he got a call from another girl and told her to come over to his apartment as the first girl was leaving.
Found these on ESPN.com, just to prove PSU is not the only team that has a few felons. You have to remember, as is the case with PSU, that these are just a few out of the 80-100 players on the team.

Hawkeyes Suspended: Iowa leading receiver Dominique Douglas and another player were suspended from the team Monday after being arrested for unauthorized use of a credit card.
Clausen, one of the top recruits in the country, was cited by Indiana State Excise Police on June 23 outside a liquor store about 10 p.m. on a Saturday night near campus along with a 23-year-old who bought two bottles of vodka, a bottle of whiskey and a case of beer.
3 Gopher Football Players Arrested--Police arrested three players Friday afternoon. They were in custody, accused of sexual assault.

This is just a list of a few recent arrests, there are more- most just don't get the attention that PSU and Paterno does. The Austin Scott case was on every major new channel including ESPN, CNN, and MSNBC. Most of these I just mentioned were never on National TV!!!!

...and PSU has a roster and history full of FELONS! Oh yeah, and a phony, old, senile coach 50 years behind the times who assaults officials when calls don't go his way, covers up/justifies the thuggish behavior of his players (JOE'S WORDS: "Hey, nobody got hurt, right?"), craps his pants on the sideline, and leads his team to consistently underachieve.

After all, based on the PSU Attendance Theory, all those people in the stands should equate to a 12-0 or 11-1 season every year, right??? SInce they were 8-4 this year, they really underachieved...
